LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

VML IT – €3.75 256MB OpenVZ VPS in France and Netherlands

VML IT

It just came to my knowledge that VML IT as closed it doors (forever?) and you shouldn’t try to buy a vps  from them at this moment.

Read more here (WHT) or here (LET), their client area is “down for maintenance”.

For this reason the signup links in the end of this post has been altered.

Vimal from VML Information Technology sent us a special promo for their France and NL servers, almost the same as last time back in December, only change is a small price increase and the ability to choose NL aswell.

VML IT has the largest amount of bandwidth I’ve ever seen in a VPS package here on LEB. Wonder if anyone ever reached the limit?

Have had a VPS from them for 5 months. A couple of weeks ago, my VPS wont boot. Sent ticket, waited a couple of days before they answered my ticket. They answered that theyve sent an email were they waited for someone to come back to work. Havent heard anything since then. And VPS has still not booted. Also VMLit seems to be for sale http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1154702

I beg to differ, the topic is “VPS Company for sale”.
And Vmlit seems to have an e-shop aswell as selling support. (http://www.vmlit.com/estore)

But still, would recomend not to buy.

Ah, I didn’t even see the topic, I saw “Web hosting division” in the body. And yes, I wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole.

For god’s sake, read previous threads before wasting your money.

They oversell like hell, performance is godawful, support is useless.

No support at all. You buy domain, its not even added in registrar. Your VPS is sometimes down, god knows why.
Their phone number on their website doen’t exists. Facebook page just got deleted today. No communication on twitter.
No anwsers, don’t go there !

    “Dear Customers,

It is with much regret that we announce the immediate closure of VML I.T Hosting Division. Since the resignation of our Director Last month due to health reason we have had since then no contact with our current Acting Managing Director. We understood the seriousness of the situation and hence took the decision.

From our current information, this should not affect Hosting clients on shared hosting in Mauritius or Netherlands, but it will affect all VPS and Dedicated Clients.

Moreover VML I.T Hosting Division was sold last month and the deal had been finalised with the new owner who has not yet showned sign.

We have had contacts with the previous owner who has promised if the owner does not show up, he will issue refunds to all clients who are elligible as per our TOS in the next 60 days or lesser depending on his health.

    Our Sincere Apologies.

Strange timing for a LEB offer..

Gutted… last time I pay for a year. Upfront.
The very least they could have done was give a little notice.

It may be considered as spam, but anyways I am just a customer of them; if you want to be 100% certain not to be burnt by paying a year upfront (which is optionnal anyway), you can google kimsufi vks. Straight from the biggest european hoster. I bought a bunch of LEBs and not very many survived. Special mention to pyramidservers.com, only 2 ppl but they do their best to please their customers and are still up (well, not their website at the moment) so far!

    • nsk8ter524 / This guys does not really know what? hes tinlakg about. VPS is not a risk haha You are completely divided from the other idiots on your node. you can be on a node with adult content and spammers and you will never know. SEO has nothing to do with the other VPS on your node.

    Received this yesterday.

    “Dear Customers,

I have been made aware of the decision taken up by the support Department yesterday to close down the Hosting Side of the business. Since I have been unable to contact the new owner myself and after consulting with legal representatives, we have therefore cancelled the sale of the Division temporarily and placed all funds associated with it into legal custody.
Having crossed checked with Support, we are still missing access to the servers and other important things. We are very well aware of the legal issues this can bring on us, but rest assured we are doing what we can on this and I am monitoring this from my side.
We will never let our clients down and I will personally look into this.
I will keep you all updated about the outcome and try to restore service as quick as possible depending on my health.

    Regards
    Vimal
