VPS Ace - $4.75/month 1GB and $3.15/month 512MB KVM in Buffalo, NY

VPS-Hosting-VPS-Servers-VPS-Ace 2013-10-22 11-41-02Matt, from VPS Ace, has sent in four exclusive offers to celebrate the launch of their KVM VPS line! Two of these offers are KVM offers, while the other ones are OpenVZ offers. We’ve known VPS Ace for a while now, as they have been featured several times before on LowEndBox.com. The KVM offers are only available in Buffalo, NY, while the other offers are also available in Chicago, IL, and Los Angeles, CA. Special IP pricing of $0.25/IPv4/month is still available. I’ve contacted them via their website and also still no response. It doesn’t look good when they won’t respond to simple sales questions via email or blog comments.

TOS States: 48 Hour Money Back Guarantee
In the event that you are not satisfied with our services, VPS Ace offers you a 48 hour Refund Guarantee for VPS Hosting services.

That is contrary to what the link above says. I’ll pass on this one…

No, I purchased a week ago. It’s stopped twice already.
Couldn’t get it back online by clicking “boot”, had to have manual help from them to restart it.

Also, the Control Panel is extremely slow.

Just signed up for the 2GB package. Here are the issues so far.
    1) After payment and VPS creation I never received an email confirmation.
    2) After a basic Ubuntu build with LAMP I noticed the VPS was using a crazy 1.6 Gb of the 2 I bought!
    3) There is no one to answer the phones at support.
    4) Submitted a ticket but guess what? No email confirmation on the ticket.
    5) So far not impressed and left confused as to what is consuming all the RAM.

Caveat emptor…the description here states “4x IPv4 address” – even their order form agrees and also states “4x IPv4 address” are included with the order …. after provisioning guess what their support department says:

    Hi,
The order came with 1 by default.

    You decide……

Make a screenshot of the ordering form and of the support reply, then Paypal-dispute the lying assholes.

the most worst site to sell vps, do not you ever respond to the ticket, do not you ever solve problems, make you lose all the data on the server

Yep these dicks lost all my stuff from an administrative stuff up. They don’t have backups of their machines because they are virtual. So remember, paying peanuts gets you monkeys.
