They partially responded to my ticket on IPv6-Net or IPv6-Address or IPv6-BGP, and CPU related questions (fairly) quickly.
on IPv6, their reponse was, this specific deal’s DataCenter does not support IPv6 !!
( i guess they don’t include IPv6 ).
on CPU question they did not respond, yet.
( Intel-microProcessor’s each Core(1C) uses “2-WAY-SMT” feature so it has 2-Threads(2T), by using this feature EACH Core(1C) can act as 2-virtual-CPU/2-vCPU ).
my questions was/is:
By “2 CPU Cores” of “Intel Xeon E5-2660v2 CPU”, what do you mean ?
is it 2-Cores with 4-Threads, or just 2-Threads ?
what minimum PERCENT of each Thread performance/computing/capability is actually allotted/committed/guaranteed to this KVM deal ?
Support SUCKS so far – they can hardly respond in sentences I can comprehend and continually ignore damn near every single question I’ve asked them.
Server didn’t work when first provisioned (wouldn’t boot at all) and it’s taken me about 24hrs of constant back and forth with support to get them to just reprovision the darn thing into a working state. Since then, they’ve ignored all other questions I’ve sent them. I think these guys are using the same garbage support centre as SolvedByData was; they’re great at dodging the questions asked.
Now that the server is running, it seems fast and responsive with some Docker apps running. I’ll throw some monitoring on it over the next few days and see how uptime is before determining if I’ll move over some hobby production apps I use. Previous reviews on LEB of this provider do seem decent, assuming they’re honest reviews. Assuming it stays running, I shouldn’t need to bother with the terrible support much in the future now.
Further update:
Server ran great for 24hrs, no downtime and decent latency. Seems to be in the NY data centre and not the LA one as I chose when signing up (NY wasn’t even an option, though I do prefer it as it’s much closer to me geographically).
One evening the server started rapidly going online/offline and managed to do this over 25 times in about two hours. Support was very fast in getting back to me on my ticket and indicated there was an abuser on the node who has been taken care of. Uptime and performance is solid since then.
Support is still terrible – bad english, incomplete sentences. Don’t rely on support for anything other than very basic tasks.
They are a colocrossing client, so I guess that’s a ‘buyer beware’. Since it’s cheap and I’m paying monthly, I’ll keep it around as long as it’s usable for. Only running some docker apps on it, so I can switch to another host in a matter of minutes anyway.
Please confirm is NY not LA. Could you please ping any LA and NY servers separatly? Thank you.
I don’t have an LA server anymore – as I said, I picked it, but when they rebuilt the server, it was moved to NY apparently.
Ordered a KVM VPS, would not boot. Opened a ticket, waiting for reply…..
After 24 hours of ordering, VPS is still offline. Got one reply from support in broken English about them fixing issues “ASAP”. Sadly their asap probably means a week.
Ouch, not a good sign. Tempted to take one but I guess I’ll pass. Thank you for your review.

ad tag was LA, sign up was LA, but ended up in NY.
NY service was crap. Was shifted to Dallas which is actually quite nice.

Just got on LA proper. Migration was a little pain, and initial impression of LA node was not nice.
Somehow after random tinkering at solusvm panel and a few reinstalls later, it does really well, smooth, even restarts fast as well. Good for some light work.
I’ve been having awful network issues on one of the LAXKVM nodes. 25-100% packetloss most of the time. Any suggestions based on your experiences?
Really disappointed, server wouldn’t even start and they leave me for 2 days after logging a ticket, they reply after you message them but you get one response, calcelled and asked for a refund.
Seems to be the problem everyone is having, me included. Their auto provisioning after sign-up simply doesn’t work, so you have to go through the runaround with support, who can barely comprehend English, to try and get it working. Took me several days.
