Brian from BigBrainHost sent me some new exclusive offers for readers here. It is available in either OpenVZ or Xen, where Xen offer is a bit more expensive. They have also gone a long way since their first mention here, when they just took over AgniHost and were reselling Virpus. Now they have their own servers with Singlehop in Chicago, and claim to have 24/7 support. So these are the offers:
- 128MB memory/384MB swap (for Xen), or burstable memory (for OpenVZ)
- 10GB storage
- 200GB/month data transfer
- SolusVM
- $3.99/month (OpenVZ — Sign up link), or
$4.99/month (Xen — Sign up link)
Also noted that these are more expensive than what BigBrainHost has offered a month ago. The previous test IP does not seem to ping anymore. They are still having adjacent DNS (on the same box it seems). Domain registered for 5 months.

We recently upgraded our servers and retired that particular node. You may try IP address 184.154.86.194 for ping tests.
Ouch. $25 to install OpenVPN. I hope that’s not a requirement that they’re required to install it.
No requirement, just an option to folks who not want to hassle with it. :)
