Where can I apply the promo code?
On the right hand side of the checkout system. Interestingly that you need to “log in to verify the coupon”. Maybe only applying to new accounts?
Thank you LEA. :)
I cant apply the code because i have to login but as a new client theres no login untilorder is finished…
They also have a 5$ plan, which comes down to 3.5$. Just got one in Luxemburg :)
Enjoy – they are going quick.

Just signed up and despite the discount not coming out at checkout, the admin set me up immediately after via live chat. Great service, here’s hoping the vps lives up to the quality response!
Can’t seem to figure out how to make this apply to new orders from new customers? I figured out how to do it with a new order from an existing customer.
Ended up with an invoice for $5 instead of $3.50.
When you are creating a new order, make sure to click on
“Use Promotional Code”

We have already had many successful orders with the coupon code.
If you have any other questions let us know!
Thanks
I tried it too and it did not give me discount. It created the payment with $5 dollar amount.
Invoice #762
ok it has been resolved. I $3.50 one too.
Here is a step by step process to clarify any questions:
step 1:
Enter in the promo code “BLACKFRIDAY”

press the >> button
you will see your order discount confirmation after

When I went through checkout, I had to create a new account AND login to it BEFORE applying the coupon. Else it won’t work.
You’re right. I signed up the same way.
Hey I didn’t know they had internet in Luxembourg.
Luxemburg is the richest country in the world. Why don’t they should have internet connections? Probabbly an average Luxemburg inhabitant has about four-five time faster internet connection than an average american.
Exactly…
I think this is one of the type of Americans that think Europe still lives in the middle ages.
Pretty vague site. Any greater detail about server specs? RAM? RAID?
Spoke with their LiveChat representative about detailed server specs. Their server in Dallas has 8GB total RAM and no RAID… they are planning on upgrading the RAM in the future.
My VPS has been pretty solid so far.
Luxembourg is small, but yes, they do have internet, I live next door in Belgium :)
I do have doubts about this provider. When emailing them, they reply from a gmail.com account. I don’t have anything against gmail, but for a professional company who doesn’t host there own mail, some red-flags go up for me.
According to there WHT post, the Luxembourg servers are “Phenom II X4 945” machines, looking at http://server.lu/dedicated-overviewamd , I found that the minimum contract duration is 1 month. Together with hiding there information in the WhoIs domain looking and that the name-servers for the setuplink.com domain are hosted on the same network, I don’t think I will go ahead and order something. Just my opinion.
@gmail.com ? Well that sucks if the owner can’t even setup apps for there domain.
Server.lu is a good providers with superb speeds in EU and ok to US.
But bah, if you do some math on 7$ -512MB on 8GB ram server it’s double bah as the server should be oversold at least 2 times to make it non loss.
I run everything through my gmail account. I do that so I can access it at any time from anywhere. Run into too many networks that block the higher ports so you can’t log into CPanel’s or Direct Admin’s back end.
Well for 3.50 you cant do anything wrong and my Server is running Fine so far =)
All our email is sent out from @setuplink.com email addresses – we never send any email from gmail – Thanks for all the positive reviews. I’m glad everyone is happy with their vps. :)
well the vps details came from sales*at*setuplink.com
But My ticket Reply came from an @gmail.com adress (mow***3@gmail.com)
That helped me diagnose the problem real quick – All tickets are fixed and sent from sales*at*setuplink.com now. Thanks for catching that error. Much appreciated.
It doesn’t seem recurring?
It’s recurring.
what about tun/tap support vpn?
Very good just open a ticket and you will get it =)
well it seems that the Nodes are oversold(*Now*) my vps runned fine but now my vps is lagging as hell
also they dont get the system time fixed on my vps its MSK (Moscow Standard Time) on my germany vps set and i can’t change it (ntpdate dont work) if you try to run a cert based VPN you will have a hard time with the validity of the certs (some hours delayed start date)
I don’t think they’re oversold. It may just be your VPS. As for the time issue, yes I’m experiencing it too.

The netspeed is fine The vps itself is lagging i stoped all my services brings down the ram to 23 out of 512mb and its still lagging when i enter a command it takes some seconds to execute the command…
Could just be that you’re too far away from the server. My pings to the German server takes ~180ms from California, so a slight delay is normal for me. Unless you’re in the same area as the server, I wouldn’t expect it to be instantaneous.
@HC
no i’m in germany i am using this server to avoid blocks that my isp is palying because i am using a mobile connection and the delay is significant large and it was not asi got the vps it runned very fine but now its laging i checked my net connection and all is fine even when i try my us server it replies faster that the german vps
WELP, I figured out how Matt@SetupLink was maintaining such a fast server at competitive prices. My VPS just got terminated because I had a bunch of National Geographic episodes on there. (Personally, I don’t really mind because I’m able to get 2 Hostrail VPSes for the price of one at Setup Link.)
But what really irks me the most is that he’s actively browsing through everyone’s machines and examining files with full root access. Yes, I know that every server admin has the power to access any user’s files, but still not really ethical to be digging through other people’s files at will.
Anyway, I still recommend this host because it’s fast and reliable for the price. But encrypt your sensitive files.
Here’s the notice that I got:
Subject: VIolation of TOS
this is blatent violation of our TOS - Your vps will be suspended and terminated.

Hosters stealing custom written scripts from is clients is known since like since 2000~.
If you didn’t receive a DMCA-like request to take down your contest this host is one of this scammers.
Thank God I didn’t order, there is nothing worse then some asshole crawling though your files without your permission.
Nope, didn’t get a takedown notice. As far as I know, he’s just casually browsing my files because I didn’t publish links anywhere, and there’s no way to know those files existed without root access.
I hardly had the VPS for 10 days, so I figured that a refund might be in order, since I prepaid for a year. So far, he’s ignored my requests.
This feels like yet another VPS “company” run by a teenager.
we actively scan for VPS servers using excessive bandwidth and disk space in a small time period. Based on that information – we noticed your national geographic episodes were copyrighted files – and we do not support storage of that on our servers.
Harvey Chan – We issued you a full refund from your paypal dispute a couple weeks ago.
Sorry that you experienced problems with our services, please be sure to read our terms of service in the future.
I have bin with this hosting for 3 months and ind that period I calculated my VPS was down for about 10 days and this is unacceptable
Revealed: The same situation. :( It’s bad VPS provider. And they answer for tickets so long or don’t answer.
availablevps == setuplink?
SetupLink says no.
AvailableVPS says they were sub-company of SetupLink.
Whatever.
this is the second time ive noticed their entire infrastructure being completely unresponsive for more than 24 hours including their business website, setuplink.com(closer to 48 now) which has forced me to point my domains to a jumpline shared hosting account. please take this into consideration before purchasing their products.
Well, I have/had 3 VPS with them, one in Luxemburg, one in Germany and one in Dallas.
The first one that died was in Dallas, about 1 month ago or so. The second was in Luxemburg about 2 weeks ago, and this morning my Germany VPS became unresponsive.
I have had no contact with them whatsoever.
Also note that AvailableVPS seem to be the same people, the website is designed in the same manner.
Deadpool?
Deadpool!
Is there any cheap luxembourg VPS provider right now?
:)
Don’t think so, Luxembourg is quite expensive.
