Any ipv6?
I’m on the edge of purchasing 3GB SSD VPS from SnowVPS. Anyone can give genuine review about SnowVPS. Much appreivated. Thanks!
Do you offer IPv6?
Hi , (1) Can you please include one /64 IPv6 “net”/”subnet”/”range”/”block” , with this deal for the same advertised price ? ( according to IANA/IETF an end-user/end-site must have a minimum /64 IPv6 net , but their STANDARD recommendation is /48 for business end-user & /56 for residential end-user ).
( my project’s server-app(s)/script(s) itself need to setup IPv6-adrs’s PTR/RDNS instantly for our each user ).
(2) Does your VPS management/control PANEL have API SUPPORT for VPS-customer’s server-apps/scripts ? (so that a VPS-customer’s server-app(s)/script(s) itself can setup IPv6-adrs PTR/RDNS instantly).
If your PANEL does NOT have API-SUPPORT for VPS-customer’s server-apps to setup IPv6-adrs PTR/RDNS , only then, we need to ask/request you to add “NS”-pointer (in your side DNS-NameServer).
(3) So if your PANEL does not have API-SUPPORT then can you setup (the provided /64 IPv6-subnet’s reverse-lookup-zone’s) “NS”-pointer (DNS record) toward the DNS-NameServer that will run inside your provided VPS ?
if you can/agree, then my/VPS-customer’s DNS-NameServer’s configurations can be updated by my/VPS-customer’s server-apps itself, to setup IPv6-adrs’s PTR/RDNS instantly.
Your provided VPS (a VIRTUAL-server SERVICE-instance) & all of it’s resources remain with you inside your own DataCenters/Servers , a client/customer is merely a remote-user, & only has remote-access into your provided VPS , a client/customer cannot take-away or move into another VPS-provider with your provided services, resources, etc, so no real TRANSFER occurred, no real DELEGATION occurred , you are merely adding few more SERVICES/RESOURCES into your own provided VPS, for the sake of SERVICE a VIRTUAL service-instance, (for a remote user/client/customer).
When a DNS-NameServer-1 points(“NS”) a forward-lookup domain/zone OR when points(“NS”,”CNAME”) a reverse-lookup IPv4/IPv6 PTR/RDNS range’s zone toward another DNS-NameServer-2 , then DNS-NameServer-1 serves/handles much much less (forward+reverse lookup) DNS traffic/packets which are related-to & handled-by DNS-NameServer-2 , & less DNS traffic/packet means that DNS-NameServer-1 consumes/uses less data , so DNS-NameServer-1 pays also less$ for total data used by it . Client’s/Customer’s DNS-NameServer-2 serves/handles it’s own + all (forward+reverse lookup) DNS traffic.
I’m new to this. Is the 5tb a monthly limit or yearly? Thanks.
