Also have my NY openvz, strangely it gets some node restarts here and there, but overall performance is better then what I had with buyvm. Also have 5mbps capped pipe, so no use from testing speed :)

These guys are great. I referred a few people already. My VPS is stable as heck.. love these guys, will stay with them for a long long time if they keep up the good work.
I was with these guys before for about 4 months until I decided to cancel due to their lack of support and slowness of their VPS’. Absolute waste of money!

You have symmetric connection. It means that you can download and upload with 5 mbps line.
In fact I downloaded the cachefly file at 400Mbps. It seems the downstream is 1Gbps and the upstream is capped at 5Mbps.
Not for me… I definitely have 5 mbps up and 5 mbps down… I’m on the AS15003, maybe that’s the difference?
I would like to note that “New York test IP: 173.208.58.101” (AS15003) doesn’t use the same network used by my XEN Abduction VPS (AS33440).

Someone should really go after them for this, they post a New York test ip which looks to be from a really nice host with tons of providers and then you end up with a almost purely Cogent inbound/outbound budget network.
I’d just like to clarify that we are not trying to deceive anyone. We have two New York Datacenters, the new location went live after this post was made. Our website and all new advertisements contain both NY Test IPs. Any users with an OpenVZ plan who was setup in NY2 (non test IP) may request to be moved to NY1 (test ip).

One thing I am surprised about is that you signed up for a host that allows IRC. Didn’t you just cancel Colo-serv because you realized that they offer IRC services? (even though they have been offering it all along and you had been a customer for 6 months without a problem?)
Simple. The VPS are for different purposes.
I bought one this year with constant problem and email support which is so slow, and now my VPS is nowhere, and they said that I have request chargeback. My question is When do I request such thing?, when I bought it on June 11, and I’m still using it last on july 21st, asking for Tun/Tap, after asking further more question about the chargeback? and their prove of such request, it was just stop like that.

Recently a month, have offline several times.

Joining to the party, yes, this month hada several downtimes (Las vegas). And today in New york too.
NY was down for some people 2 days (till yesterday)… Those which lost datas on NY9 fail node recently and get migrated to another failure NY1 and then to NY13 experienced this.
Already seems to work, but has many times go offline.
