Is OVZ 6 or 7? What is the kernel of the vps? What 2 cpu cores means? What percentage of a real core is a vcpu and what are the allowed usage (% for certain time)? Will you remove VAT when entering a valid VAT number? Thank you

    February 22, 2020 @ 8:45 pm | Reply
    • VPSSLIM:

We have both VZ options for our clients. 2CPU means 2 cores. You can use 100% of the allocated CPU. We will remove VAT indeed when a VAT number is applied.

Don’t go with these providers, or after 6 months you will receive email “we are going to close this month” as previous hosting companies. Just go before 5-6 pages in lowendbox and you will see all old companies are now closed. These companies are managed by 1 company with different domain names. These new companies are black faces of old companies.
No phone no physical address. Just took your money and close. If you don’t believe my words just go back before oct-nov posts here and see all main websites are now closed.

@icetea Because not stable VZ and overcrowded location to prevent rides of money-back requests. With CC payments not a easy or impossible get money back if you get something wrong.

That’s not the reason actually as chargebacks are also possible with CC. We chose to simplify our payment system with 1 or 2 payment processors.

Stay away!!!!!! I decided to order even though they never replied to my presale question.

After unsuccessfully trying to pay with 2 different options, I emailed them. I called them (Dutch answering machine.) I emailed them again. Finally, I emailed them to cancel my order because I had already purchased two other VPS, their payment processor rejected my payment and they didn’t respond.

While they did not answer to my emails or voicemail, they now harass me with payment reminders. I can’t call it “spam” because it’s too many messages for that.
I’m glad the payment didn’t go through because I can’t imagine a company behaving like this offering good service.

This company offers true 24/7 service. Ignoring you all day long.

Hi, it might be due to your account being temp. blocked due to wrong payment details by the fraud pevention system. It can trigger false positives of course. It might be that you called our regular business number which is open 9AM-5PM GMT outside office hours, then you will get an answering machine. We do have a 24×7 NOC phone number though. Please get in touch by us by ticket so we can look into this for you.

That may be. But it doesn’t explain why you don’t respond to emails and tickets within 48 hours. Yes, I called your regular number and haven’t met any Dutch office/business person who didn’t speak English and/or German. I left a message in both languages.

No. I don’t want to look into the ticket. No second chance for a first impression.

Also, if your invoice is overdue, you will get automated reminders.
If you sent an email and did not get a ticket ID back as reply, we did not receive your email in that case. So it’s best to open a ticket via the website.

  35. Christopher:

While this deal from VPS Slim looks good on “paper”, thus far its seems “to good to be true” and I feel I must warn others against using it, because, *inter alia*, their support is extremely “slim”. For nearly two weeks now I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to order the €2.99/mo deal (VPS OpenVZ SSD #2) offered above, selecting Bitcoin as my payment (which they claim to accept). But their system does not offer me any means of making the Bitcoin payment — once the order is submitted, it merely shows an error, with no BTC receive address or amount give, no QR code, nothing — and no help on this from support. I have sent repeated requests about this to their “tech support” system, only to have my first request deemed “fraud”, my second attempt “canceled”, and with very rare and unhelpful responses from tech support — and no answer to my question about how to make my Bitcoin payment.

I’m not going to say its a scam, since they won’t even take my (crypto)money! Rather, they either: (1) do not actually take bitcoin, and thus offer a misleading advertisement and order page; (2) do not know how bitcoin works and thus are incompetent (and still misleading); or (3) they do not care enough about small-time new customers who are eager to pay them. Either way, in no way would I entrust a company that behaves like this with an annual payment, much less a credit card number. Nothing in their interaction with me inspires consumer confidence.

I will look elsewhere — and pay more money — for a service that fulfills what it promises and actually attends to its (potential) customers.
