LowEndTalk’s 2020 Best Providers poll has been taken, the votes have been counted, the people have spoken, and the awards have been given! Here are the results:
Congrats to RackNerd, NexusBytes, and HostHatch!
Voting was close near the top, so it’s worth mentioning the rest of the top 10:
4. VirMach
5. BuyVM
6. Hetzner
10. Gullo’s Hosting
See the results thread for full details.
How Does a Provider Become a Best Provider?
From what I’ve seen, LEB/LET readers value:
Price: Go figure with a name like LowEndTalk/LowEndBox! LEB/LET readers are always looking for great value for the price. Paradoxically, though, the community usually reacts poorly to obviously unsustainable offers. So it’s not the craziest offer that always wins the community’s support but it’s a key factor in the overall decision.
Reliability: High uptime, few problems, lack of network hiccups, and solid performance all go into this category. No one is expecting five nines but flakey hardware, iffy networks, and slothful servers mean migrating users.
Transparency and Community Engagement: A lot of problems can be overcome by communicating frequently and often with the community you serve.
Again, congratulations to the winners and we hope to see all of them (and others!) back on the 2021 board.

Thank You to everyone who voted for RackNerd! We sincerely appreciate your support, and for those who may have missed voting, or didn’t vote for RackNerd, we hope to earn your vote next time. This community has been amazing to us, and we enjoy being part of it!
We’ll continue to give back to the community and hope to your #1 provider for years to come.
To all the other providers who made it, congratulations. Hard work pays off.
RackNerd is one of the few where I would pay a year in advance. I grabbed a VPS in the offers at the beginning of December. Downtime since shows as one break of three minutes. Currently up for 1,236 hours. I haven’t needed any support. So I’m very happy so far. Also a fan of NexusBytes. It’s amazing what we get for so little money. Thanks LowEndBox, you have transformed my hosting. I’m not an expert by any means but I’ve been able to move to managing my own VPSes for nearly a year now.
Hi Robert! Thank you for hosting with RackNerd! We appreciate your business :)
If you ever need anything, please be sure to reach out, we’ll be here to help.
Congratulations Dustin! I am your customer for going on approx 4 months now and even ordered up another VPS account the other day. I didn’t get a chance to vote but just wanted to tell you thanks. Everything is working well service wise.
Hi Iman, thank you for being a customer of RackNerd. 4 months and counting! We hope to earn your vote on the next one :)

i can confirm that RackNerd is my favorite as i becaome a client from last december
the support are extremely friendly i must that here Anthony he was helping and solving any issue in a second
thank you and congratulations
unfortunately, Racknerd their Ryzen vps Deals are out of stock, and the other problem is if I want to have a VPS in Europe (Amsterdam) I have to pay 5.99$ for that IP address or use an American location. the other problem is for example in ryzen vps showing 2 cores etc.. but it does not say if it’s fair share Ryzen vCores or not, and does their VPS DDOS Protected or not. I really like them but they need to explain more for us to choose the right VPS/ server. also to fix their IP price as it’s not acceptable for their EU Customers to buy an American VPS instead of (an European IP).
I have emailed him on Tue, May 3, but no reply from him yet. email arab…
Good luck racknerd
