As we reported last December, CentOS is changing. Instead of being downstream of RHEL (and seeking to be a free RHEL clone), it is now moving upstream of RHEL and will be a development playground for RHEL. That radically changes its nature.

I am going with Ubuntu server, FreeBSD, or OpenBSD before this. CentOS is of less value to me now and via either the free for 16 licensing or their developer support, I will use it as needed to maintain professional skills, but not for much else.
I miss a choice:
[ ] I will continue using CentOS 7 a few years (supported until 2024) until the dust settles and then chose a way forward
