According to news reports, demand for VPN services by Russians is surging. Between February 24 and March 8, the top VPN apps in various mobile app stores saw nearly 6 million downloads, an increase of a staggering 1500%.
As the government restricts access to foreign media, ordinary Russians are increasingly using VPN services to gain a window to the outside world. Russia has been less restrictive than other nations (such as China) but has recently clamped down. For example, Facebook was blocked post-invasion.
There are two VPNs we recommend: PureVPN and ExpressVPN. However, it appears neither offer service in Russia, which may be a post-sanctions situation.

Many Russians also need a lot of cheap VPS, but sometimes have troubles because Visa/Mastercard block cross-border settlement.
Only way is pay by BTC.
What about other cryptos?
How are people paying for services in light of the restrictions on Visa/Mastercard? Crypto?
You know that a lot more companies than ExpressVPN and PureVPN offer affiliate programmes, right? :)
Sadly the best VPN companies that I know of do not have an affiliate programme, so people will never see them advertised here. ;-)
