Christopher, from WeLoveServers, emailed in this offer over Christmas but it had sold out before we could post it. Christopher has informed us that these plans are now back in stock.
Rudolph VPS Special
| Blitzen VPS Special
|
WeLoveServers were previously known as “ThrustSites” however their name conflicted with another company (ThrustVPS), so they decided to rename their company. Apparently the name “We Love Servers” reflects their “love and passion for servers”. According to Chris, LEB customers who order the “Rudolph VPS special”, can claim a free upgrade from the standard 100Mbps port to 1Gbps by opening a support ticket after ordering. Nodes are using the Intel Xeon Quad-Core E3-1240 processor with multiple drives in hardware RAID10. I managed to find a review on WebHostingTalk from a few weeks back which is positive. If you’re a customer – do leave a quick review below.
They have an account on LowEndTalk which has posted a fair few offers. Refunds are offered on a case by case basis and Paypal is accepted. According to Chris, their AUP is “very flexible, we understand that VPS hosting should offer freedom, and we try our best to keep it that way”. Anything illegal in the United States and P2P/Torrents are prohibited. IRC, adult content and VPN are allowed. As usual, further information can be found in their Terms of Service.

Hey Anar,

I do appreciate your input.
Yeah,,please add LR (Liberty Reserve) too :)
thx
Inconsistent speed test speeds from remote sites. Very typical of Quadranet customers.

<1M/s from Kansas City
8.9M/s from Atlanta
6M/s from Buffalo
Our test file server is actually only on a 100Mbps port right now, working on getting that upped to 1Gbps. However any customer who orders the Rudolph plan can claim a free upgrade from a 100Mbps port over to 1Gbps.
From our personal experience, the network has been nothing short of spectacular.
Chris
Got a Blitzen plan last month, and I have to say that’s a nice plan. I ran UnixBench on my VPS and got a mark of about 2100. However, the node was once unresponsible for about one hour and a half, and it functions well now.
Special thanks to Liam for the listing.
Chris
I’m signing up for this offer now. Hopefully I’m making a wise decision.
Do you allow for VPNserver?
Yes, we allow VPN servers!
Signed up for 1 month for Blitzen VPS Special, will see how we get on, waiting for the free control panel setup currently.
Well I got my VPS, running Debian right now. Had an initial issue with payment. Chris(CEO and has posted here) said they are aware of an issue with the integration with paypal and are working on it. He worked quickly on getting me up and running. So far I’m pretty impressed, I ran the “Serverbear” bench mark and will post a link below but I found very few that beat the score let alone anywhere near the same price(4 that beat the score and were under $20/month) the cheapest was $15/month and it beat the score but not the price.

Thanks for the great comment! However, 1 thing to clarify. The PayPal integration was not only isolated to us, it affected ALL companies who processed payments through PayPal. There is actually a huge discussion about it over at WebHostingTalk: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1232303
The issue was fixed yesterday evening, so we are back on track now.
Ah, I was not aware of that issue. I had only tried to pay you guys so didn’t know of anything else. Just hope you guys keep up the good work since it looks like the node I’m on is not oversold or anything which is good. Hope it stays that way(and you don’t start over selling)
Don’t worry, you’re in good hands!
Just order this VPS but comes without IP Address and already submit ticket and still waiting :(
The way SolusVM works with WHMCS is odd. If you purchase your VPS and enter a password that contains advanced symbols (for examples: \ @ # $ % ^ &) then it will not configure your new VPS properly with the IP(s) address.
This is why you were not able to connect to your VPS IP originally. I ended up changing your password for you and your VPS is now online. You were updated with the new password in your support ticket.
If you want to change your VPS password back to your original password you may do it now, since the setup process is complete.
I hope you understand.
It only works with alphanumeric characters. It’s a known issue and doesn’t look like it’ll be fixed any time soon. I don’t think it even works if you try it with SolusVM directly. Not an integration issue.
Tell me about it, very frustrating! SolusVM should fix that. Can’t tell you how many customers today had to open a ticket to get that fixed because they didn’t order with alphanumeric characters.
Added a notice in the order form letting customers know to choose an alphanumeric password, hopefully it should eliminate this problem at least until SolusVM releases a fix (if ever)
Chris
Does this have VSwap or not? We’re looking into switching VPS providers because the absence of VSwap with our current VPS provider makes java pretty unusable, even with 2gb.
Do you have any limits on:
1) Number of sent Emails per day/month?
2) Number of IP addresses
My vps has 1 ip. There is no limit for emails if these arent spam!
So far so good, been with them a week now, no issues with downtime i’ve seen, server performance seems fine too.
Today, WeLoveServers has expanded VPS hosting location site to Dallas, TX. These offers are now available in our new hosting site: Dallas, TX.
You can select what location you want your VPS to be set up in (Los Angeles or Dallas) during the order process.
Chris
how long is Blitzen VPS Special offer? after one mounth of 4$ will update to 7$ or still paying 4$/mounth?
Pretty sure it’s a lifetime discount, i paid for a month, liked it and then for a couple more months price didn’t go up.
Correct, this is a lifetime discount.
Chris
can you link Solusvm link login?
and another question if world of wacraft private servers are allowed on Rudolph VPS Special..
Best VPS and Customer service so far!
I encourage you to buy from here…
I tested a lot of VPSs, never found one like this, its very fast for a lowend vps, lot of Ram memory on low price and it is activated instantly.
Are game servers allowed? And will the $6.49/m price for the 2GB VPS ever change?
i have the same question!
i have $6.49/m with 2GB VPS and the price doesnt change. Today Christopher Boswell confirmed this..

Running Gameservers (if you feel that your gameserver process will not abuse the CPU or Disk I/O, please contact us for approval before running it)
Ordered Rudolph VPS Special. Delivery was very quick, and the VPS server is also VERY quick. You get alot of memory and storage for not much money. Performance is also very good, no wierd IO CPU usage I see at other VPS providers! Recommended!
Been with them for a while now, perfect up time as far as I can see and no problems and my website does get a fair bit of traffic, will stay with them for time to come just paid another 6 months worth :)
I signed up with them and came here again to leave some review.
I have used few other VPSs and so far, they provide an amazing service.
I had some problems after installing zpanel so I made a ticket to reinstall Ubuntu for me. A representative named “Tyler” was really helpful and solved it for me.
Just a note: they have OpenVZ which means zero swap.
free -m will show 2gb but beancounter showed me I actually get ~512mb ram. I’m not sure about it but I’m highly satisfied with the results.
wget’d a 100mb file from cachefly and it was ~90 Mbps !! Other 100mb files (wgets from other servers) were at ~10 Mbps.
So far, I’m very happy with their service.
