Motionite recently contacted us to tell us about the services they provide. Specifically, their OVZ-256 plan which is normally priced at $14,95 but LowEndBox users can get it for $6.95 per month.

*If you have a good reason, you can get a free upgrade to 500GB bandwidth by submitting a ticket named LOWENDBOX1.

Motionite were founded in 2010 but this is their first offer on LowEndBox – so welcome! They seem to be a provider of ‘offshore services’ as they claim to provide anonymous, private and safe hosting. Since 2012, they’ve operated their own datacenter in the Czech Republic (pics here), but they’re still registered in the Dominican Republic. As they’re registered in Dominica, they claim they do not require customer information, only an email account… According to them “We are for an open internet, we don’t just provide hosting, we provide freedom”. Just how much freedom is not quite clear, certainly an interesting provider.

Motionite accepts payments via PayPal. All of their servers are custom built and installed by their technicians. These servers are normally configured with the i7 2600k CPU, 32GB RAM and 2 x 1TB SATA2 in RAID0. They do not usually provide refunds on servers, however if you have a good reason for one, a refund can be issued within the first 3 days. Servers are provisioned instantly and customers can purchase up to 28 additional IPv4 addresses. Their Terms of Service can be found here.

Did you guys even look into Motionite’s past before posting this? Seems to mis out alot of information, one being them closing numerous of times between 2010 and now, mergers that went wrong etc.

How can they operate there own DC for one?

2# Has you looked at the owners past also? Very well known from the distrubition of pirated material, or providing tools created by him to access certain banned wbesites, TPB etc. And also missing out the fact the owner loves to decrypt IonCube zend etc and redistribute the new nulled files.
Hey he even has a website for it iRadikal.com.

I’m disapointed to see this one be posted to be honest.

    • Hello,

I know the people like you, there is no need for hating.

We are providing legit hosting for a while now without any issues. Yes we are a group of developers, and I have personally invented a great way to access blocked websites like TPB, this has been listed everywhere on the net. So what’s your issue about this? It’s not illegal, it’s just a smart trick.

About our software iDezender, yeah it’s nice right? Well it’s a revolutionary piece of software which stands out of the market with it’s price.

Finally, if you need any help or something feel free to contact me personally, and I may help you with your problems.

      Regards

    RAID0? Seriously? That’s a pretty bad idea.

Also, you sell Dedicated servers with 100Mbit and offer 100TB BW, this is impossible…

If you can’t reach 100TB/mo of transfer on a 100mbit port….well, I guess you just aren’t trying hard enough

  4. @William,

Yes you have seen it good, RAID0.

And yes it’s possible, every rack does have a 1Gbps connection and that uplink is shared. So we guarantee 100Mbps connection per server.

      No, you can’t transfer 100 TB in a month with a 100Mbit connection, that’s just math :-).

The RAID 0 is pretty scary.. Might be ok for a reverse proxy, but probably not for anything else I can think of..

Why didn’t you go RAID 10?

I believe this is a bit misleading. The datacenter is neither owned nor operated by them. The pictures are from “Tower” which is a datacenter of České Radiokomunikace, a Czech telco/broadcasting company.

Oh, another Czech Republic host :) Nice. Month or two ago I just got new .cz VPS (hosted with some other company) for very very attractive price. It seems like there’s a lot of LEB potential to be discovered and posted on those pages instead repeating “special offers” from same and same hosts all the time :)

    • MiB:

Well, the biggest problem with Czech hosts is that they mostly focus on local market only, I would say a majority of them don’t even have an English website. So even though some of them would qualify for LEB price, they will mostly be left undiscovered because of that barrier.

I completely agree with you. Two .cz hosts I recently contacted with pre-sale questions don’t have english site. One responded immediately in proper english (I am hosted with them now) and I never recieved reply from other. But prices of both are “attractive” :)

Ugh… Dominican Republic and Dominica are 2 different countries. Even wikipedia knows that!

  10. Customer:

RAID0 is completely a joke. No IPv6 support. And no you can transfer 100TB in a month on a 100mbps interface, not even with 100% utilization of full duplex…This is the scary part: Whoever runs the business can’t do math…

  11. Provider:

He was closed down over 10 times in the last 2 years. It’s only a matter of time he does that again.

Hes unable to fund this kind of operation until it gets on its feets
He lacks some basic technical skills – 100TB on 100mbps lol
He runs VPS Nodes on RAID0,do I need to say anything else?
Some people never learn, no idea why he keeps getting into industry he has no clue about

    • Another competitive host from our past. We have sold our customer base 2 times. Not 10.
And again, it’s possible. But you didn’t read it properly. Servers are not on a 100Mbps port. It’s shared connectivity with 100Mbps guarantee speed. And yes, RAID0, it’s a choice respect that. Our customers aren’t complaining about this.

In case you want to reveal your company name, feel free to contact me.

I was a customer, no doubt Tamer had provided a good service, but when they sold their company, my container was flashed (I guess it was “BoxSlots” which later sold itself too), literally leaving me stranded.
