Wow!
Amazing deal
Thanks Strikerr, and thanks Liam for posting the deal it is appreciated.
Please note if anyone is ordering and using paypal the email address and or name on the paypal account needs to match the billing details entered where ever possible :)
UK 128 boxes put back in stock I was actually reserving stock while waiting for the offer to be posted as I assumed it would be popular.
Don’t buy anything from Inception hosting. This Anthony guy is a con/scam artist.
Yep, 3 years in business rolling in to the 4th based on very public offers and scamming people… obviously everyone should trust the word of an anonymous post that gives no details at all.
Get serious … buy Inception :)
As an added bonus anyone that signs up between now and 22nd Aug is welcome to a free lowendspirit box for one year, just open a ticket if you purchased one of these and would like a lowendspirit OpenVZ box to play with. plan details can be found at http://lowendspirit.com
Late in the day but I just spotted a typo in the offer, the UK is 100mbit not gbit.
I will look in to switching them over to gbit though.
Anthony.
Miami 2GB Xen doesn`t have 6 CPU Cores
You get access to 6 cores/threads. not sure why you are saying this.
Anthony,
Which data centers are you using in Miami and Phoenix?
Thanks!

http://whois.domaintools.com/64.188.47.142
Original question still stands. ;-)
http://whois.domaintools.com/199.30.54.133
For all the whois “experts”…. whois data is no indication of location, but rather organization. Carry on.
You asked what Datacentres they are using for their locations, The Miami one from the whois looks like to be “Server Axis Corporation” from the IP whois.
LOL. That’s a Chicago address in that whois data. O.o Further, if you look into ServerAxis, it seems they don’t own any data centers. They use “carrier neutral facilities”.
They use PhoenixNAP in Phoenix (IOFlood) and Server Axis in Miami.
Phoenix NAP makes sense, but Server Axis doesn’t seem to have a physical location in Miami. Do they use NAP of Americas (Verizon), Coresite, Colohouse, etc? Their website is a bit ambiguous. O.o
coresite
” Configurable rackmount servers located in the Coresite Miami Exchange. Customizable hot swap disk configurations are built to order specifications. Full KVM access for custom OS installs or utilize our fully scripted OS installer. IPMI control of server power for immediate reboots. “
Hi Jim,
Looks to have been answered already but just for clarity, Miami is Coresite Miami/Miami IX and Phoenix is PhoenixNAP by way of IOFlood.
Anthony.
Miami: Coresite
a very good provider, it should have been on the tops many times, but well, I think it’s because they prefer to offer quality rather than quantity.
the only problem I experienced with them was the annoying ‘phone verification’ during the order process, which I find useless, since anyone can get a for example a free phone number in the US etc, and well, when I ordered the system did not call me and my order was stuck.
Thanks florin,
Any feedback is always welcome, you are correct about the phone system, it is actually maxmind and the truth is things are going from bad to worse with the phone system I am actively looking for a different option and may consider turning off phone verification all together due to the issues it causes.
when you do, let me(us) know, I will probably try your services again
You could always try something like http://www.trustwho.com/ as an alternative for verification, I’m not sure of the cost though. First time I made a purchase on a site that used them I received a phone call from an actual person to verify that it was a legitimate purchase, no issues after that though.
Their Debian 7 image is horribly outdated.
Hi Hans,
Well it is only a 20 second job to update it, but point taken I will look in to that.
Anthony.
Dear Anthony,
Your spelling of name is wrong on IP WHOIS. Please, take a look:
whois.domaintools.com/82.211.15.135
wow… thanks :)
This has been fixed just FYI.
Wow, nice offer!
But I don’t understand, do you offer real IPv4 with full port range?
Hi Yumi,
Yes full IPv4 on all Xen packages, it is only the €3.00 p/year OpenVZ offer that is on NAT v4
Well, thanks.
Will try some late, cant register account because I’m not available via phone now :(
Hello
I was looking to buy the openvz mini neatherland package. My question is that will i be able to ssh tunnel and use vps as my own personal proxy and download torrent from utorrent. Please explain
I cannot answer that without incriminating the company, the question you are asking is can you use the service as an SSH tunnel, yes you can use an SSH tunnel, please consider the OpenVZ service is none profit and abusers of this service will not be protected.
I get error from order page “MaxMind Error”
indonesia order accepted ?
I will look in to it.
Sorted, replied to your ticket.
Got this “maxmind error” to, I’ve open a ticket, please sort it out.
Regards
ticket answered, thanks mate :)

@AnthonySmith Any IPv6 test addresses in Miami and Phoenix?
Phoenix has no IPv6 that is an error in the offer.
Drop me an email if you like, sales notat inceptionhosting notdotcom
Anthony.
The UK is now out of stock, they sold like wild fire!
New UK node being stood up soon, build is in progress.
Which data center / network do you use for UK?
I go through OpenITC who colo in RapidSwitch, it has been a great experience compared to some of the drama people have had with RapidSwitch directly, no reflection on RapidSwitch oviously they did not ask to be attacked 24×7
*obviously
UPDATE: NEW UK node will have completed testing and should be available for orders by the end of the business day tomorrow.
I got an early 5am start this morning so the new UK node is now available and stock has opened up for the UK again.
I can vouch for the credibility of inception, been a client with them for 2 months now but the experience was convincing enough for me to leave two reputable hosts.
Transparent, technically sound & realistic. Go for @Inception Go for @AnthonySmith
Thanks for the kind words.
Anthony.
Test IP for UK?
City of the DC in Netherlands?
UK: 149.255.111.99
NL DC is in Rotterdam.
Anthony.
Thank you, Anthony. That info was missing and it could be of help.
Going to buy and try it out! Just curious, what is your policy for Minecraft servers?
No real policy against it, obviously if you become a DDOS target then it will be a problem but that goes for anything really, dont abuse resources and there is no problem, I never really understood the whole NO MINECRAFT attitude.
Anthony.
Thanks!
Is it possible to install a custom OS?
Hi,
That is not possible but minimal versions of all major distro’s are available.
Thanks.
Anthony.
I saw most major Linux distros are available, it’s a good point and I would take a shot in the future. Anyway, I was looking for NetBSD :)
Thanks for your attention,
Luis
Miami 1GB Xen – promotion code wrong?
Hi Stefan,
No the code is correct, it only works if selecting monthly though, if you want longer terms open a ticket and I will sort that out for you.
Anthony.
Nice location of Miami, can you sponsor us for free online ping test?
Hi Terry,
I do sponsor projects all the time with free resources but only new ideas, there are thousands of online ping tests and frankly ICMP traffic being used to determine end to end connectivity is not the best idea in my opinion to begin with.
Anthony.
Thanks Anthony for that statement! I always wonder why people think that ICMP traffic would show them if a service an any remote machine is 1) actually what it shows it should be and 2) if it is running accordingly at all.
Do you provide any ddos protection
Hi imtiax,
No DDOS protection at all.
Anthony.
UK is now fully stocked, new node is:
Dual Quad Core L5640’s @ 2.27GHz
64GB Ram
4 x 2TB – HW Raid 10
Enjoy.
Any speedtest file in NL ?
feel free to drop me an email if you want any speed test files, sadly when they are ported here some people set scripts off downloading them 24×7

Very bad billing and support from this provider!
After registation and paymant I see:
Ban Reason: Banned due to Orders
What is!?
That is what happens when you try to place 4 orders from 4 IP’s using the name “Duke Nukem” no sympathy, you are not the type of customer wanted here. I do not allow anonymous users on to this service in the same way you do not allow strangers to come in to your house.
I trying pseudoname “Duke Nukem” one order, other order using real name.
“Duke Nukem”. That just made my day. Ha,ha :))
Oh right.. on my first credit card application I put Lara Croft and a fake address, now the stupid credit card company wont deal with me..
Seriously, it says during order that orders via VPN/Proxy will not be accepted and billing details must be accurate, additionally you are told when your first order is held for review if you place another your account will be closed.
I cant take any responsibility for your lack of attention, you were refunded in full despite the fact Inception Hosting is out of pocket because of your actions.
Shoulda used Mary Poppins…works every time.
My home router = VPN/Proxy?
Ok, you lost klient.
You lost yourself I am afraid, like I said, no anonymous clients just like you don’t let strangers in to your home. and unless duke nukem’s home router is in Hetzner then no…
Anyway.. always good to end an offer with a new troll.
Duke Nukem + Hetzner guy. Looooooool. Rolling off this god damn char in about a second. . .
Duke Nukem is my legal name and I won’t stand for you scammers using it!
Send in a DMCA notice, I will reply :)
Hi There !
Can these Copoun Coded be used again after my 1 month expires ? Miami 2GB
yes.

How to submit phone number? I submitted +628xxxxxxxx but failed +62 is mean from Indonesia..

MaxMind has deemed your order to be potentially high risk and therefore it has been held for manual review.
If you feel you have received this message in error, then please accept our apologies and submit a support ticket to our Customer Service Team. Thank you.
This is now on the 3rd page of lowendbox, you really should do as the message said and open a ticket not ask here as this is not Inception Hosting’s support or billing desk,
Anthony.
Would it be possible to get more bandwidth with the 2GB package, if so how much? Looking for roughly 3TB total.
Hi Ryan,
Pure bandwidth upgrades are not possible without a package upgrade.
Anthony.
This post is now on the 4th Page of Low End Box, please do not post any questions or requests if you want a timely answer as this offer although still valid is not being tracked daily.
Any questions open a ticket as a customer or drop an email to sales@
Anthony.
Hi,
is root shell access provided (sorry for the dummy question). also, how is dns managed?
many thanks
Hi Simon,
yes full root, you manage your own DNS I suppose either via your domain registrar or by installing a DNS server but I would suggest the first of the 2 :)
Anthony.
Had bad experience with this provider. Takes your money. Be careful!
yeah…. no.
Order number?
Anthony.
Damn :/ this provider takes my money since 10/14/11.
And I like it!
Indeed :)
I am just guessing but its a pretty safe guess based on the name, I suspect this is the guy that was genuinely insulted for getting his service suspended/terminated after getting caught launching DDOS attacks on game servers and then subsequently lost the paypal dispute he raised.
So cant blame him for trolling, kids have to be allowed to stamp their feet.
No, I have never in my life DDOS anyone; you must be making this up. The issue was when I signed with Inception Hosting, although I specifically chose the no subscription Paypal option, it still created a subscription.
I was the one who requested a cancellation. There is a screenshot (http://paste.opensuse.org/view/raw/6b54d799) of the ticket reply confirming the request. What complicated matter was, I had closed another hosting account during this same period that provided email used in signing up with Inception Hosting.
Immediately after seeing that a payment was sent via Paypal subscription, even though the account cancellation had been fulfilled and I no longer had service with Inception Hosting, I notified him of this error and also explained the email situation and provided a working email.
Prior to me requesting the email update, I was able to log into the inception account though the service itself had been terminated, but would not be able to after Anthony was notified. Neither the old nor new email would work. I sent several emails, and received only one email which appeared to be a confirmation and instruction for cancellations, he would not reply after that.
So basically, he took my money, offered no service, and now lays a bogus accusation that has no merit. My advice to potential customers is, be careful. This individual is very unprofessional.
Ah ok my mistake, but I would point you to your opening line: although I specifically chose the no subscription Paypal option, it still created a subscription.
Inception Hosting do not create the subscriptions, you do with paypal.
End of conversation.
Just so everyone knows the content of the email that I asked to to ensure you read in the support ticket you have posted here it is:
If you have a subscription through paypal please delete it, you are responsible for your paypal subscriptions and and payments made after you cancel cannot be refunded, if this request has been made for the 14 day money back promise then please also be aware that you will not be able to take out any new service for a minimum of 12 months.
The problem with trolls is they only ever give half a story to try and make themselves look innocent which always back fires.
I would also point out that you were informed around 8 times about your paypal subscription not just by Inception hosting but paypal also send an email to you when ever you set up a subscription so you really have no excuse to claim ignorance on this and I provide a hosting service I can only give you the information and explain things to the best of my ability, I cannot also understand it for you.
Further more the first contact from you (not really from you) was a paypal unauthorised access claim and you got generally abusive straight away so no, you did not get the 5 star service on this occasion.
It would seem you have difficulties telling the truth. After the screenshot proved your initial allegations were bogus, now you say the first contact you received was from a Paypal unauthorized claim. Again, you are making it up rather than admit you erred.
When one signs up with the service, there are two Paypal links, one with subscription and one without, and even if the no subscription link is selected, it still creates a subscription.
I gave you an updated email and explained that the current email used in that account was no longer active. Your only reply to my queries was what seemed to be a cancellation request. You would no longer respond to my emails. Here is a screenshot (http://paste.opensuse.org/view/raw/f8060144) of your only response, so saying Paypal unauthorized charge was the first contact is 100% false and you know it.
Once again, my advice to potential customers is, be careful. This individual is dishonest and very unprofessional.
Here is another screenshot (http://paste.opensuse.org/view/raw/9ec1fdef) of an email sent to Inception Hosting, although the individual claimed the first contact he received was from Paypal unauthorized charge which is clearly not true.
A honest business would have said, OK, the responsibility to cancel the subscription was yours, but we will refund the charge, given that no service was being provided. Instead, this individual disabled access, and believes money deposited into his bank account, whether legit or not, belongs to him.
Have a nice day!
Like I said: I can only give you the information and explain things to the best of my ability, I cannot also understand it for you.
Once again all you have done is point out you knew you had a subscription from the start,
No, it does not prove such. You’ve already been caught telling tales. As I stated on the emails and ticket (before you locked me out), I was unaware it created a subscription because I specifically chose Paypal link option with no subscription.
EDIS also uses the same module as your company, and does the same thing. I recently setup an account with EDIS, and although I chose no subscription link, it created one. I had learned a lesson from your bad experience, so I went ahead and immediately deleted the subscription.
All that said, what the screenshots I have posted shows is your dishonesty and unprofessionalism. Let’s assume for a second that I was aware of the subscription (which clearly, I did not), and forgot to cancel it, even though my service with you had ended, you believe you should keep the money. Is that not thievery?
The appropriate thing to have done was either refund the money or offer to provide equivalent service. You did neither, but disabled access to the account, and did not respond to further emails. That is the fact of the matter.
sigh… as I have said, I can only explain things to you, the capacity for you to understand them however is your problem not mine.
I am not “telling tales” at all, I stand by and defend the policy on paypal subscription payments and have done publicly many times, the facts here are that you have made no effort to reveal who you actually are so I was left with best guess only, perhaps I have the wrong person completely.
Facts none specific to your case:
1)Every customer has the option between subscription or none subscription payment methods.
2) If YOU choose to create a subscription this is an agreement between YOU and PAYPAL to SEND payment on a set schedule. this is your responsibility just like a auto payment from a bank account.
3) regardless of the fact you would think people would take more than 2 seconds to pay some attention to what they are doing the sad fact is many don’t so as a result you are notified you have a new subscription with all details 2 times during checkout, then a further double confirmation is done with paypal, followed by an email from paypal confirming this AGAIN.
4) Just in case you paid no attention to anything in point 3 you then get a further email from inception hosting notifying you that you need to manage your own subscription, followed by almost every email having the same information about your subscription.
5) To not notice ANY of these (by now about 20 notifications) is either wilful ignorance or complete disregard for your own finances, none of which I will allow to be made my problem.
6) The policy on cancellations and billing is also made just as clear at every stage of your account, it even goes on to ask that you cancel any subscriptions you may have upon cancellation of service which is confirmed also by email.
7) if you want to take part in any money back schemes such as the 48 hour or 14 day policy then you need to pay some attention to the terms under which you signed up to begin with, again if you chose to ignore this I cannot see how you could make this anyone’s fault but your own, e.g. het credit card company, you charged me 30% interest, “Yes that is in the terms you signed up under”… BUT I NEVER READ THEM GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!… honestly you think this is OK?
8) After cancellation and account closure you are no longer a customer, again this is your choice, if you then want to dispute something after the fact that COULD NOT have been made any more obvious and simple and up front short of visiting you at home to hold your hand through the sign up process then you are taking up time, time is not free.
It is you sir who has come to troll here with a mask on knowing you have the advantage on anonymity. it does not surprise me you have also had a run in with EDIS, another company who stands up for logic and reason and will not suffer fools gladly, you cant just stamp your feet and get what ever you want after being deliberately and wilfully ignorant and then attempting to put a black mark on a company as a result of things COMPLETELY within your control.
Look at one of your opening lines for gods sake: “I specifically chose the no subscription Paypal option, it still created a subscription.” << You said this, right here above..
Do you realise how much credibility you just lost..? apart from the fact that this is IMPOSSIBLE you would have to be making extra effort afterwards and during not to notice you were setting up a subscription and then ignore the emails that came in within seconds of this telling you over and over again that you just set up a subscription.
I really have nothing to hide here, perhaps this seems over the top but hey.. I have a right to defend my position against internet trolls and I have some spare time right now.
Thanks for your continued support by ensuring inception hosting remains on the first page side bar of LEB. I have noticed an increase in orders from this post since you dragged it back up from page 6.
When you are ready to be a responsible adult and post some identifying information here I am happy to continue this conversation with your agreement to full disclosure (and I mean full) of facts and all information. if you continue to post your misdirection, half truths etc here I will take that as permission to track down your actual account and make a FULL disclosure of all information related to your account including account info, sign up dates, copies of all emails sent/received, paypal info etc etc I am just not prepared to have this argument which you chose to take PUBLIC while you are allowed to remain faceless and anonymous.
Anthony.
First, I have not had a “run in” with EDIS. I simply mentioned that they use the same module as you do. I have had no issue with them or any VPS service providers I have used and continue to use, except your company.
You wrote a long-winded substance lacking response, in attempt to justify your actions. Let’s review; you made some silly allegations which have been proven false. You wanted to make yourself look good — I mean, who wouldn’t be against someone that launches DDoS attacks?! You displayed unprofessionalism.
I am certain you know exactly who I am. Another tale you told was, after seeing the first screenshot of the ticket showing date and time, you claimed that the only contact you’d receive from me was through a Paypal dispute, but the next sets of screenshots proved otherwise. You displayed dishonesty.
I cancelled a service with your company, unaware of a Paypal subscription, and after you were sent a payment, although not offering service, was notified immediately of the error. I contacted you with a new and working email address. Whether purposeful or not, I could no longer access my account on your server. You were made aware of this, and your only response, as shown on the screenshot, was your rule on cancellation.
Of course you dodged and refused to address why you didn’t respond to any of my further emails. I have an obligation to warn others of the kind of character they would dealing with in you — this exchange alone is more than enough. Show a little class, admit you could have handled it differently, and we can move on.

Thank you for agreeing to full disclose I will find out specifically which client you are over the coming week and make a full public and unedited record of all support tickets and emails and post it here.
I honestly cannot believe you are still saying you did not know you had a subscription, that is near impossible.
I stand by everything I said in the last post and refute your ignorance.

Basically, you are suggesting that you didn’t know who I was, considering all that you’ve said in your responses. Again, this shows your lack of professionalism and disregard for honesty. You have no credibility, I am sorry to say. You are allowed to publish the correspondence with all my personal information redacted.
* 5) will/”will not”
You have not been granted permission for “full disclosure” or whatever that means. Given your history of dishonesty and telling of tales, we know what to expect. I am a private individual and your business is a public entity. You are however allowed to publish all correspondence with any and all personal identifying information redacted.
As I have said, you are still to give me any identifying information, not even an order number as requested so you have left me with best guesses only which you are spinning to make it sound like I am “telling tales” as such this conversation is over.
Have a good day.
€5.35/Month 2gb Xen but if I order $20/Month Code: 20484535 code not working? or…. i miss some thing?
The code is still available, make sure you select monthly payments.
Very rude support person I talked to. Promised to give me a refund, but instead deleted the VPS, the client account and challenged my PayPal dispute, which I opened because they didn’t answer to messages. Don’t deal with them!
I think perhaps you have the facts a little wrong here, I know this is an old message but feel free to post a ticket number and I will be happy to share the details of this.

The 2048453 special offer is now over.
Thanks.
Anthony.
Watch as I gaze disappointingly into the sunset, sad that Inception Hosting ended their amazing offers.
haha, A new one is coming soon, the stock is almost out in Miami, looking to put on SSD cached offers next hence retiring this one.
Their system of password recovery does not work, we can not receive a temporary password to log in a personal account.
If is a slightest delay in payment, they immediately cut off all service.. Very strange company without any support..
The password recovery issue was as a result of the billing system upgrade, it was fixed.
you get 24 hours after your payment is due (and 3 reminders to pay) before service is suspended, it is then kept available for un-suspension for a further 7 days minimum.
I do not think that is unreasonable?
Stay away from them. They shut down very fast and don’t give you time to resolve the problem.
Sorry that is simply not the case.
If you are talking about a resource abuse issue then you are only shut down (with the option to boot your server back up yourself) if your resource use is so abusive it degrades quality for other users.
I do not think that is unreasonable.
I need Los Angeles :)
6 CPU Cores shred or wht?
Very good post. I will be facing many of thse issues as well..
I want to tell you that this company is one customer who only wants money. Support is very difficult to answer, as well as the activation server. to never buy from this company. go really bad, server fail all the time. have problems with nodes
exactly it is. jean b’re right. I would not advise anyone to buy from that company for professional negligence. even they have problems with the server and ping.
