Dedicated server
|
FragReady is a young company, started little over a year ago. This is the first time we’re featuring them on LowEndBox.com. I’ve been able to find some reviews about them. They are primarily known as a game host, but have been offering dedicated servers for a while. This offer is available both in the Continuum DC in Chicago and the CoreSpace DC in Dallas. It’s possible to upgrade your uplink in Chicago to 1Gbps for an additional $10/month. Hardware upgrade don’t seem to be possible during ordering, but I’m sure their support department will be able to help out.
Payment methods accepted are: PayPal and credit cards. Additional IPv4 addresses are prices at $2/IPv4/month. Their terms of service can be found here: http://fragready.com/termsofservice.php. If you give them a try, please share your experiences with us!
Test IPv4 for Chicago, IL, USA: 199.96.84.12
Test IPv4 for Dallas, TX, USA: 66.34.220.4

Is IPMI or KVM-over-IP included?
In Chicago, we can provide an KVM-over-IP, when needed.
Totally looking forward to moving all my stuff here! the price certainly is right!
Jason, thanks for choosing FragReady ;-)

Eric, we do apologize for this inconvenience, due to the increase in traffic on our website we did some necessary upgrades around this time.
It seems you got through though, if this is the same Eric! Thanks for choosing FragReady ;-)
hmm..where is the low-end part on this offer? thats a damn full fledged dedicated server…
This doesn’t really seem like a “deal”. There are numerous hosts that have ~$50 range 2xL5420/L5520, some with more ram/HDD and gig ports.

While we understand your concern, there are still a lot more companies that charge more than those prices.
You can say this about any type of server. Some companies will sell certain machines for much cheaper.
At FragReady, we really strive to provide quality customer service, and the best possible services we can. In order to do this, we have a team of staff members that help answer peoples concerns. Unfortunately, having staff is not free, nor cheap.
I do not think that our pricing is “expensive” or “too-much”. We provide support, which generally speaking we do not charge for. People have issues with third party software, if our staff have knowledge on the issue we will help you, and work with you to get through these issues.
You reference a couple companies in your response, and if you talk to customers of certain companies, they will tell you that the price being so cheap is too good to be true. We price our machines so that they are not expensive, but they are reasonable so we can have the necessary staff to provide the best possible services we can.
In addition, three of the four threads you mentioned are in other locations; Las Vegas; North Kansas City & Lenoir, North Carolina
I am sure that if I contacted one of these locations, I would be able to do similar pricing, as I am sure Colocation fee’s are much cheaper than Chicago & Dallas.
Not to mention the other one is VeeServers and they are fucking terrible.
Are you reselling http://premiumdedicatedservers.com/?
You’re both offering the same plan, and your Chicago Test IP is SWIP to them.
Well zUser, did you even check the costs of premiumdedicatedservers’s server? Theirs are $80 a month and this one is $49… so IMO it’s not the same plan as it’s different costs, just the server has the same specs :>
Premium Dedicated Servers is our sibling company that was started in 2010, this is why the plans are so similar. We are both divisions of Main Street Savvy, LLC.
“You reference a couple companies in your response, and if you talk to customers of certain companies, they will tell you that the price being so cheap is too good to be true. ”
Wrong, I have several servers with the listed companies and the specs are double of what you are offering and I’ve had NO down time, customer service has been great, so you’re wrong :)
I am not wrong, look around, look at what people are saying. I didn’t say all of them, I said a few. Don’t get me wrong, all companies have a few bad reviews, but some have much more than others.
So you’re only defense is that a lot of companies get it worse? Why even get into these arguments when it leads to these sorts of responses. You put up an offer… its not the best but its certainly not the worst. Take it or leave it.
I am simply replying to HackedServer, who mentioned several threads, he mentioned companies that have data centers in smaller area’s, like in North Carolina, North Kansas City, Las Vegas — these places have MUCH cheaper colocation fee’s, if I were to have cabinets in these locations I would be at much lower prices, guaranteed.
HackedServer mentions an article on WHT by a company in Chicago, they offered some specials in the thread.. But, if you take a look at their website, their normal prices are even more than us. All companies have sales, and specials that they post about.
Regardless, as a consumer, I always rather pay more if that means I am going to have better service. What is $10-$20 more if that means you have quick responses to tickets, a decent network, a good team of support technicians ready to assist you. These things are priceless, and that’s what we like to achieve at FragReady. We are here to provide you a service, we charge our clients a fair amount so that we can provide all the best possible experience.
Hi my name is whosurdaddy, I’ve Been running a very very popular Counterstrike Global Offensive Community ,Very Poor People. We have been using FragReady servers for over 12 months. These services are wonderful, the staff at FragReady, are wonderful. The customer service they provide is phenomenal. You cannot ask for anything more! This is a really great offer! My csgo servers reg are Spot on! I have 1 server that is #7th ranked in the world, and 1 Super Popular Dm server where a lot of the cs pros play. I would not be able to reach this far without Fragready. You guys can check my community out at http://www.clanvpp.com
So guy needs to defend himself, his company, because some other companies offer something cheaper? Is this argument at all? It’s rude enough to join someone’s LEB thread linking other companies deals. So what if some companies can offer good deal for less money and thousand others for more money? It’s completely irrelevant for this thread.
Show some courtesy and understand that this is FragReady LEB moment.
I know that you like to defend the unethical dregs of the hosting industry Spirit, but Fragready should explain some of the serious allegations about one of his staff members that have been posted on Reddit and WHT.

Seems pretty reasonable. The server was delivered in less than 24 hours and the prices are pro rata (you only pay for the remaining days of the month), which I liked cause I probably only need my server for a couple weeks so I only had to pay ~$20 instead of $49. Here’s a benchmark:
Thanks for the kind words. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require any assistance.
IPKVM and IPMI not available in Dallas?
They are not, IPMI is available on our E3-1230v2 systems in every location, however, KVM-over-ip is available in only Chicago at this time.
Price seems rather high.. I would pick up a $49 dedicated from datashack..
Supposedly there is lots of proof from many CSGO Communities that this company FragReady and one of there clients ClanVPP are going around DDoSing servers to gain rank and clients for themselves. The proof they provided looks really damning and legit.
You can find the thread here on reddit. http://redd.it/1xrcsw
I would not recommend anybody purchasing a rental from this Company as what they are doing is highly illegal and being one of there clients could result in a court appearance.
