Via this WHT offer. XENnode is a hosting company providing unmanaged virtual servers using, guess what, Xen para-virtualization. According to WHOIS the domain was created 3 months ago, and it’s operated from Melbourne Australia. With their latest 10% off promotion using the coupon code 10%OFFPROMO, you can get their low end Xen box for $62.09/year.
- 128MB memory/256MB swap
- 5GB storage
- 100GB/month data transfer
- Xen/Custom Control Panel
Servers are in Dallas with Limestone. A custom control panel is always a plus from me as it probably shows that the provider knows what he is doing (rather than relying on a pre-made control panel). From WHOIS you can also found out that the owner runs a computer shop that was just started in May this year.
So can you trust this shop to prepay for 12 months? Sorry I don’t know — but I probably won’t. Only time will tell.

Hi BrianT,
My name is Andrew Serpanchy and i’m the owner of XENnode. I honestly do not know where you are coming from with this. What makes you say that i’m 15? Just by making such a foolish comment proves that you are making this up.
Firstly, I was a customer of Nerios and I still reside in their IRC server and chat sometimes with the staff. I was never kicked from them, I decided to branch off and start my own company after being a customer of theirs. They are a great provider and I hope some day to be as good as they are. I’m also friends with the previous owner (Danny) and he infact helped me kick start off my business. And no, Windows users do not get a choice of a 6 month trial or pirated version. Again, where on earth did you find this information?
My guess is that you are just a jealous competitor.
Bryan I dont know where you got your information from, but i have a vps from xennode and with my time being with them i have had no problems. The staff is friendly and helpful, also any time i had something requested to be installed it was done as soon as possible (within 30 mins). You say they use desktop hardware, if you call dual quad core xeon setups desktop hardware then you are right.
@Andrew — I’ve just sent your request to Nerios asking for verification.
Been nearly 24 hours since I’ve signed up with them and still not gotten my account activated. I’ve tried emailing them, no response. I clicked the chat on their website and was redirected into an IRC chat channel full of what I presume were their customers and staff. After asking about typical setup times, two users started flaming me and threatened to “make sure that Andrew never activated my account”. Seems this place is ran by a bunch of angsty teenagers. Proceed with caution..
@Nathan — seeing that you are posting from the same HideMyAss.com proxy IP address as BrianT, you don’t get any credibility here…
@Andrew — well. Not sure what you have done but you and your business has definitely attracted a few enemies. Maybe you might also want to think about what you have done…
Nathan, I just checked once again. I don’t see any logs of you joining our IRC network or opening a live chat.
I also never recieved a payment from you, I only recieved order confirmation. Might want to check and make sure the payment has been sent before posting this.
If you did join our chat and find 2 members flaming, I would like to know their names. Thanks.
Oh also, I never recieved any emails from you.
I responded here due to an email to the same email address that is provided to customers, so you obviously never sent me an email.
@Andrew — please check your spambox; I would really like this box sometime soon. The two users in the chat channel were “Aden” and “Rihno”.
I just checked all of my email addresses again including the junk/spam mail. There are no emails from you.
And again, like i said before. I have not recieved any payments from you. The billing system has even sent an overdue notice for your payment.
You should login to the billing page again and check, you’ll have an unpaid invoice. I even logged into my paypal and checked.
@Andrew — I have sent yearly payment via paypal. My invoice is showing as “Paid”.
Nathan, I have not recieved ANY orders for the yearly payment options. Take a screenshot for me for proof.
This all seems like one huge lie as you spoke of Aden. Aden has left the country for 12 days and hasn’t been active for about a week now. He also doesn’t even use that nick on my IRC server. I’m guessing you are just someone trying to stir things up from SwiftIRC.
With quite a few people trying to comment on this thread using various proxy servers (although their comments are still in moderation), I have now decided to close this post.
