Patrick, from INIZ, has sent the community 2 exceptional OpenVZ offers available in three locations. INIZ has been featured many times before, and reviews from users have been quite stellar throughout the life of the company. They have also achieved 3rd place in the Top Provider quarterly poll three times in a row. The nodes that the virtual servers are hosted on are quite beefy, and very generous. They consist of Dual E5-2650 CPUs, HP RAID with flash cache and 10x4TB RAID10 disks in the Netherlands, and Dual E5-2620v1/2 CPUs, LSI 9271 RAID with CV and 8x3TB RAID10 in the United States for both of their locations. A great advantage at INIZ, which we do not see every day with other providers, is the use of dual 1Gbps uplinks for redundancy at the node level. rDNS entries are easily, and instantly configured via SolusVM, eliminating the need to waste countless hours by opening a support ticket for it to be manually configured. Unlike the majority of providers here on LowEndBox, only a few actually run their own BGP session. INIZ is one of the few and proud. They run their BGP (AS62599) sessions at each of their locations with the US, as well as the EU. Not to mention that they are also now a RIPE member, congratulations! All offers include 1 IPv6 address by default, a /64 IPv6 can be requested by ticket in NYC and AMS. If you are a current customer with INIZ, please do share your reviews and comments below.

iniz ?
no thanks!
Iniz leads top worst providers. Steer clear from Iniz.
No they don’t. Stop trolling around.
No, INIZ (Patrick) is a decent provider. More than average, no real issues.
Sweet deals! Iniz support and service is top notch!
Thanks for the post Maarten.
Also as part of this LEB offer, the VZ256 has double storage. You will get 100GB HDD instead of 50GB, simply submit ticket after ordering to get upgraded.
Nice. Very tempting.
Does the double HDD also apply to “OpenVZ.IO – IO5G”
Also, from the TOS: “You must obtain our approval of any bulk commercial e-mail which will require our reasonable satisfaction by providing the requested information”
I have two clients who typically send 3 e-mails per month (each) to a list of about 2000 recipients. Do you think this (with very moderate annual growth (maybe 7%) would be allowable?
Not hearing anything here, I took this up with Patrick by e-mail. He was exceptionally responsive and clear in his answers.
The double HDD capacity only applies to the smaller VPS instance, NOT “OpenVZ.IO – IO5G”
Also, even with prearranged approval for bulkmail, only 500 mails per hour are allowed (1000 seems more standard among the other hosting I have ever used), even if total volume is very low each month. INIZ is strict with *automatic* ACCOUNT cutoffs for any account exceeding such limits. Account owners are responsible for their own throttle.
I appreciate their conundrum, but I think the automatic cutoff of an entire account is a little over the top. It seems it would make more sense to cutoff mail sending capability and then take it up with the customer.
I am concerned that throttles set by a VPS account client may calculate differently (even slightly) than however INIZ calculates.
That could lead to big problems fast.
If you have no bulk mail needs, however, these offers (which last to the end of the month) look great!
Hi. I would really like to get the 100GB you promised. Can you enable it? :o)
INIZ quality really fell down the drain…
I’m unable to locate an account with your name that has recently cancelled or has active service in the last 6 months. Do you have anything to back up what you are saying and can you submit a ticket so we can check on and resolve any issues you may have (if you have any genuinely)?
I have multiple vps from almost every provider on let/leb. I can undoubtedly say with utmost certainty that INIZ IS THE BEST from the lot simply because the network quality, hardware, support & service is just tremendously good. I have learned not to praise any host so quickly and if it were any other host I would have been worried that any positive comments would result in more sales & consequently greater load/lesser quality from the same machines. However, knowing Patrick I can bet that he would get more nodes to redistribute the load or just not offer the service if the machines can’t gracefully handle the load without adversely affecting quality which we know is the case for a lot of hosts on LET who over-promise, oversell, lie , cheat, deceive & ultimately die a miserable death. So Spencer please take your negativity somewhere else, Patrick doesn’t compromise on quality.
I recommend INIZ all the way because they have earned it!
I’ve sticked with INIZ for some time now and I’ve been very satisfied. One thing that I miss is the offer diversity: EU SSD or SSD-cached storage. Cannot express any complaints really.
INIZ uptime and performance has always been great! Can’t go wrong with these deals!
Trying to sign up for 5GB plan, but it is showing up as a cost of 8 GBP per month at NYC. How do we get $6.70 or rough equivalent in GBP? Thanks
Click on the order link on this page, click the “add to cart” button on the product configuration page, and the discount will show up automatically in the shopping cart (£4.12GBP= $6.70 USD)
Thank you DomainBop. I was just one click away :-P
It seemed that they raised their KVM pricing recently.
We have indeed, those are being targeted for another market at the moment. We will have the odd promo shortly to cover the free large disk space over at LET.
Just ordered a IO5G yesterday:
I have 3 vpsès with Iniz and they are working great. Speed, uptime and overall performance is great. I have nothing to complain about.
Why no vSwap on the 5gb plan?
actually I think it has 128mb, hopefully it was a typo
What is the difference between public and private torrent?
Public torrents are torrents which can be found via Google (ie. thepiratebay). Private torrents are on private trackers, which can not be found via Google (ie. torrentleech.org).
Personal usage may be a better term in this case, i.e. you cannot share access publicly
I’m using INIZ since half year (there was great 64 MB VPS offer on LEB) and I can confirm – it’s one of the best provider around. Stable servers and support. Recommended.
This company is very reliable, responsive, high speed, communicates on issues/outages (planned and unplanned), and will work directly with you on custom configurations. Highly recommended. If only another high disk offer would come along….
We can probably work something out for existing clients! Submit a ticket and lets see what we can come out with, if you’re prepared to commit 3,6,12mo we can do some aggressive pricing currently on anything.
We have some older nodes running 8-10x 3/4TB HDDs with a lot of unused space we can do some deals on!

Can someone post speed tests for the LA locations? OpenVZ.IO and regular iniz.com. Thank you.
I have a vps with iniz wich I use for a recipe blog of my gf and her email, everything is fine and I never needed to contact support, I thought if it was appropriate to do so even with my production site but my doubt is that I can’t see any name in the site, not an address and nothing else, maybe it’s my fault but I’d like to understand who is the company or the person behind iniz because if I want to transfer my clients sites I need the guarantee of continuity. Iniz can you tell me where I can find your references?
INIZ quality has just gone downhill, would not buy.
I’m unable to locate an account with your name that has recently cancelled or has active service in the last 6 months and has reported any issues. Do you have anything to back up what you are saying and can you submit a ticket so we can check on and resolve any issues you may have (if you have any genuinely)?
I just picked up one OpenVZ.IO – IO5G. It is fast! Cheers @Patrick
I am an existing customer and very happy with INIZ.. i just renewed my subscription for 3 new month! I am paying the same for my current subscription as for the OpenVZ.IO – IO5G deal. Can i get my current subscription upgraded to this? i am also considering to get a new VPS but in a different geographical location.
it writes $20.40/Y and $10.20/Y is the price changed?
i mean $10.20/semi-annually
If you go through GBP price will be correct, conversion rates may have changed for EUR/USD.
Do you provide a private IP? I mean I want to setup a high ram front server and a storage for saving file.
the data exchange through private network does not count bandwidth
We currently do not. All bandwidth would be counted.
@Patrick:
What is the policy / pricing for bandwidth overages? I’m looking for someplace to host a small project. I envision it will require a only a fraction of the plan bandwidth but need to know what my options / obligations would be in the event it gets linked out from one of the major forums or blogs.
This is about the only way I can envision hitting the transfer total. It’s unlikely, but I have to know the potential charges. ( and could not find them on your website fwiw )
Thanks
Clients VPS would be suspended upon utilising their bandwidth allocation for the month. You can purchase additional bandwidth prior to full utilisation or after.
@Patrick:
Can the openvz image be of a linux distro other than ubuntu/debian/centos?
Thanks

Just had my account with iniz terminated for no reason, they claim DDOS plus high memory. But i run a legitimate website
1. The so called DDOS was actually form cloudflare IP’s he send me a snippet of the logs and all IP’s were 141.101.98.XXX which according to http://db-ip.com/all/141.101.98 are all cloudflare owned ip’s so how could that be a DDOS? Answer it wasn’t
2. it’s clear they realised i was right about point 1 so they decided to make up excuse number 2, High memory usage, i replied with yeah ofcourse it was i was using WGET and TAR to retrieve and extract some backups from another VPS.
3. They still refused to acknowledge this and instead decided to delete my account without giving me a transcript of the ticket and refusing to do so.
I had this service for around 18hours. it was great till i was accused of shit which never happened, i was no DDOS’d i was only running a webserver and vestaCP but yet was still accused of running a game server or other DDOS prone application.
They are also refusing to give me a refund despite the fact i paid for 1 month’s service and got less than 1 day’s service.
Utterly disgraceful i am tempted to go as far to say its a SCAM! they claim i was DDOS’d show me a easily spoofable text file with some ip’s which could be changed, and in return i lose money and get nothing out of it. explain to me how thats not a scam.
From the Ticket!!!!
As seen in your bandwidth graphs you received several incoming attacks to port 80 and our monitoring system shut down your VM to prevent it affecting neighbours.
At this time we are reluctant to continue hosting you and giving you another chance due to your unprofessional behaviour and attracting DDoS in a matter of hours.
Please let us know if you need backup before we proceed with account termination on the grounds stated above. Also as stated in terms:
>You may not run any [..] DDoS prone applications including but not limited to Mining, Minecraft & Video Encoding.

Points in question.
Server Logs were not DDOS, standard network traffic coming from cloudflare IP’s since they don’t use mod_cloudflare or similar to “check CF-Connecting-IP”
Graph shows a spike but it was just a simple WGET command retrieving my backup which was easiest to access via WGET to avoid needing keys etc.
Ram usage, no proof so still no answer to that but most likely WGET.
They still refused to acknowledge this and instead decided to delete my account without giving me a transcript of the ticket and refusing to do so.
I’m done stating my points i’m pretty sure any one with the slightest bit of knowledge of networking and cloudflare will understand there was no need for me to be terminated.
Points in question:
You were terminated for incoming DDoS and denied a refund, threatened with chargeback and account was closed.
All proof:
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showpost.php?p=9247446&postcount=3
do you Allow for transparant proxy squid ?
As long as it’s for your own personal usage and not shared this is fine.
Can you please reply my ticket #VWH-396-36150, its going over 9 hours and no reply???
When you are bumping tickets, we take the last reply time. Your VPS was suspended and you bumped the ticket resulting in even longer response time.
Hi,
I would like to get the IO5G but unfortunately can only get it on the 10th of oct when my current VPS expires. How long will the promo last and are you running low on stock?
Promotion has been a great success and it will run until end of October at least. We have new hardware coming in the next week as well to cover the new orders.
Patrick,
Your order links are down. I get “502 Bad Gateway nginx/1.6.0” when I click on them.
