This company is a fraud.
I took a vps node and connected via paypal subscribe.
after completion of the sixth month payment they send the invoice again and cancel paypal subscribe method as a payment mode.
Then to avoid downtime i made the payment for second time. And created a support ticket.
No body cared about the ticked to reply and no-one is there to reply.
I wiped the data and deleted the node.
After couple of months they reply they are having new offers from 10$ per year onwards.
They will collect money and vanish at a time and come back again.
Rethink if you are attracted with their tempting plans.
Craja, we are definately not in the business of fraud nor taking people’s money for services that we are not providing. From what I gather, you canceled a service with us but forgot to cancel the subscription with PayPal’s website..
Ultimately it is the customer’s responsibility to manage their PayPal subscriptions, but if a customer has accidentally forgotten to cancel it after canceling a server, we will gladly refund it. Please contact us at support at alpharacks.com and mention me, I will take care of you.

That was early last year.
The business was however mentioned on WHT 3 days before this offer was posted because people who were never customers were allegedly receiving unsolicited email advertisements.

If they’re not a registered business then their WHOIS info is incorrect because ICANN requires that the registrant be a legal entity (i.e. a registered business or a person if it is a sole proprietorship). You can’t use a D/B/A name as the registrant.

That’s not necessarily a bad thing. In my opinion, a hosting provider that is put up for sale means that the provider wants their customers to be better taken care of. 9 times out of 10 the provider that acquires it is better than the people running it before. Selling it is alot better then just getting up and leaving one day out of the blue. In cases like EIG however, that’s when you want to run away as fast as you can.

Extra IP’s are $1.50/month. We currently do not sell VPS in Europe.

That alpharack website looks well done and not of a shaky store front attraction. Sure the guy had it for sale mid last year but this $5.99 vps offer is sweet.
Just a heads up, the claim on their homepage that deployment is instant is false. I paid twenty minutes ago and am still awaiting deployment.
I paid with paypal but its still marked as unpaid. I opened a ticket but no response for 9 hours ..
I bought two and they were instantly deployed. I have messaged support several times and the responses have all been quick. Sometimes within a minute.

Deal with caution.. Website says instant deployment and 24/7 support. Its been three and a half hours and I’, still waiting for provisioning.. The only response I get to support tickets is “Well, I can’t help you, but don’t worry someone else will later.” Contacting bank soon.
Heath, I do apologize for the inconvenience, it appears that your order was placed with a hostname that was not a minimum of 4 characters in length. This exploits a known SolusVM/WHMCS module bug that breaks the deployment automation. While this is certainly not your fault, we encourage you to utilize a hostname that will be 4 or more characters in length so that there is no delay on subsequent deployments. Have a great day!

Good analysis. After reading the article, I also decided to choose the VPS hosting for the website. I have 24/7 customer support at a low price with VPS hosting from creativeON.com got the best deal on.
First impressions not good. Signed up, 30 minutes later get welcome email saying server is online when it isn’t.
Also received signup confirmation with my password I signed up with in plain text.
^ And hour and a half after being told its online, its online.
I ordered one yesterday, so far so good they delivered the product in no time. this is my first windows vps , but i was not used to see on vnc how someone is setting it up (disk fix and network)

Alpharacks is great. Got a 3gb RAM ubuntu 14 box in LA thru them in January 2015 and it has been nothing but awesome since. I have seen 0 performance issues (whereas i had a ton of I/O problems on Demonvps). The VPS was up in running within minutes of my purchase through paypal. I will continue with them until further notice. If I have any problems I’ll come back and comment. Would totally recommend.

I am incredibly frustrated right now. About three hours ago both VPS I purchased from them went down as “SUSPENDED.” I was confused and sent them a message. At first I was elated! They responded within minutes, server came up. Less than a minute later servers go down. I respond to their message. They tell me it’s back up (same text as last message.) I try again. Servers go down a minute later. They respond saying it was flagged for high processes. I explained why and sorry that I missed the part in the TOS that said I needed to let them know I was running Game Servers.
Over the last three hours they have responded to each one of my messages. And each time is either one of three different responses. Almost canned. Which I get, canned messages happen — But Two of which they didn’t even pertain to the issue!
I need my data. I’ve told them this.
One of the email’s said I should just wipe it and reinstall the OS. I NEED MY DATA. Why would I do that? The machine isn’t compromised. The machine should be working appropriately. The gameserver isn’t set to automatically start running, so I say again, NOTHING should be flagging it to shutdown.
I have folks who require their data waiting for me to have a solution.. very stressful considering this should be a very easy problem and shouldn’t require three hours of my time.
After 29 emails (to and from) the servers are back online. I have no idea if this will happen again and I’m wary. I’m going to give them another chance, but if not, PLENTY of VPS services out there.
Backups are on the top of the list now sadly.
Update: Day two, all is well and both are functional.
Positives:
I’ve had no issues with connectivity and bandwidth is plentiful.
Their interface is simple and provides good data on bandwidth/cpu/memory usage.
Rapid responses, though canned, and did actually resolve the issue.

I’ve had my 512MB VPS for about a week now and I am loving it.
10Mbps+ consistently to Australia which is all I could expect
No downtime
Support enabled TUN/TAP within a couple of minutes of requesting it
And I like the AlphaRacks website and dashboard

Its control panel like sh!t. It auto login within 30 seconds and I can’t do anything. The VPS also shutdown without reason. I still can’t access the Control Panel and reboot them.

I do not recommend alpharacks. My experience with them has been very disappointing. When my server was running, it was fine for a while, then started having constant problems. The server kept lagging and eventually going down almost every day. Customer service is friendly and responds quickly, but they are ultimately useless, since they don’t resolve the issue which comes back soon after. I canceled my subscription but expected the server to stay up for the rest of the full year I paid for, but currently my server is unavailable, even though it should be up until February 2016 since I did not get a refund.

So I have been unable to use my service with Alpharacks for over a month now, the control panel and server do not respond and ironically neither do their tech support as my ticket has been open for over a week now with no response. Sorry guys but this does not make a good ‘lowendbox’ !!
I’ve used AlphaRacks now for several months and I’m afraid in the end I cannot recommend the service. Like others here, my VPS has been down for several days and my support ticket has gone unanswered for just as long. This is the fifth such incident of downtime since starting my account with them. Buyer beware.
Do not buy this VPS, poor efficiency of their author ticket 5 days get a reply, but has been perfunctory, eight days later, still does not solve the problem VPS, this is the worst I have ever used VPS services.

Are $ 18 / quarter Windows VPS and $ 12 / yr 768M memory VPS,
Because Windows VPS remote password I forget July 21,
I submitted a Ticket request help reset the password,
I know 5 days received a reply,
He asked me to wait while processing my VPS,
I waited 12 days, still did not help me reset the password, asked me to wait,
Then I lowendbox reviews of their services,
In the August 4 my Windows VPS closed, even 768M memory have been closed,
I do not know that they are not because they are so close I review my VPS,
But I was really evaluate, they not only did not solve my problem,
I also closed two VPS, this is the worst I have ever used and most despicable of VPS,
I am here today exposure, I just want you to understand that this is not worth VPS you choose.

They said in ticket NIC card went bad… yeah 24h for replace NIC card… seriously?

Mine also down. Realized about this just now. Tried login to their client area, but received this message instead:
“Down for Maintenance (Err 3)
We are currently performing a migration of our web server. Client-services are not affected by this. Please try accessing our website again in a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
Heard about AlphaRacks via their RIJX acquisition. I had a really bad experience with RIJX (still trying to get my money back for a server that never worked), but still needed a diagnostic host in LA.
Signed up for a $36/year AlphaRacks special just a few mins ago, after reading above. It was working within two minutes. Now hardening it up. (wish there was external firewall like EC2).
i really don’t have idea about alpharacks. i have started with Techplusintl.com windows web hosting for my startup website and got wonderful experience such as 100% up time guaranteed or 24/7 customer support.

They won’t stop spamming me with offers and their unsubscribe feature does not work. Contacting support@alpharacks.com does nothing. Stay away from this company!
Never buy from this company. Agreeing to their terms means you do not get a refund. I understand that policy, but they also agreed to give me a server that worked. After multiple support tickets and replies with “should be fixed now” I have stopped using their servers. Save your money, go somewhere else.
We have been using their VPS since a few months, and I even added another server just a few weeks ago. But out of the blue, they suspended one server. I opened a ticket and they send some network logs, with very vague claims, nothing specific at all, some connections to port 443 and 80. This has been going on for 2 weeks now with somewhere like 20 messages. Sometimes no response for several days. Server is still suspended. We use all servers the same way, its just a SSH proxy, used for browsing the web. There is no apache, email, smtp running at all. So far, always way below the bandwidth limit and pretty much no CPU usage. I have opened a paypal case now, because this is going nowhere. We do use other providers and so far did not have such issues at all in the past 12 months, even with the cheapest VPS.

Very Bad service of this company.I got a Master reseller & VPS. Servers are very very slow. Lot of downtime.Page loading is very slow.I have submitted many tickets. They replied but issues are not fixing
Horrible service, tickets take ages for response, I can´t even make cpanel backups, server more down then not. Dont even think about wordpress backup, once you load wordpress, it crashes the server.
First they migrated my server, now it is even worse.
I strongly suggest not to expect too much stability when considering this offer, it is very cheap, but thats not everything that matters.
Guys, be aware that Alpharacks is suspending services for not apparent reason (on a quick online search seems im not the only once). Once I complained about the suspended service, they just respond with some nonsense log (normal connections).
For 4 days the service was down and they stop responding.
I opened a paypal conflict .. and the next day they terminated the service, sent me a email saying the termination was due to not paying ( it was paid until 2018) but they changed the dates…
Not to mentioned that the speed/bandwith they say they offer is total BS.

Shalom everyone, I wanted to share my thoughts. Signed up two days ago and paid for a VPS. It has been down for over 90% of the time and is turtle slow when up. Clearly an oversold service. What makes it worse is that the support people twist the truth and pretend that services are fine and that the issue is on your side. Very poor service with poor morals. In short designed to lure people in with offers that are too good to be true and trap them with longer term deals. I think their business works on trapping a few hundred people a year into signing on for a year at a time. Snake oil salesmen.
