Via this WHT offer. AgniHost has some pretty neat OpenVZ virtual server packages at $4.95/month and currently running 25% off for the first month. Its Unmanaged U-VPS 0 has
- 384MB guaranteed/1024MB burstable memory
- 10GB storage
- 5Mbps unmetered bandwidth
- OpenVZ/SolusVM
From its WHOIS info the domain has been registered by someone in Florida under “Agnima LLC” which is currently registered and active. While their website is hosted with Rackspace/SliceHost, under datacenter/network page it lists out two locations — Chicago IL or Kansas City. I suspect that the VPS is with the later, as 5Mbps reminds me Virpus’ VPS packages, which are also in Kansas City in Oak Tower facility.
While the domain has been registered since March 2009, the service might only been around for less than a month if this tweet is of any indication.

Very unprofessional service, when signing up and paying through paypal an automatic payment subscription is set up for payment each month. Despite this I had emails sent to me for two weeks prior to payment being due asking me to pay up, on the day payment was due I got yet another email to say that I was late in paying even though I wasn’t and my account was suspended despite the payment coming out of paypal later that day. Avoid, it’s a bad way of doing business.
Saw this on Flippa. The WHOIS information has also changed today so I think the provider might have changed hands. Someone in BigBrainHost.com has acquired it.
Get your life jacket ready…
Don’t worry about the life Jackets.
I’ve been working with the bigbrain people for a while now, and they know their stuff. They have a dynamite admin team that knows their stuff, and the guys there know what customer service really means.
If it’s any indication, they’ve taken the shared clients off of the shared reseller they were on, and moved them to something bigger (VPS? Dedicated? I’m not sure) but I worked with them to migrate some things over, and it was smooth as butter.
