isn’t this guy deadpooled?
You seem to have borrowed LAKid’s gravitar
I don’t think bhost has dead-pooled no.
Only someone use the same template :-D
We are certainly not deadpooled!
Standard question: is it IPv6 available already?
Yes I see in your FAQ related Q/A (we are currently waiting on our datacentre to introduce IPv6, which we expect to happen later this year, before we introduce this ourselves) but this could be a bit outdated as some RapidSwitch hosted providers offer IPv6 since beginning of this year or so, that’s why I am asking.
Let me chase this with RapidSwitch – last time we asked they were still testing.
It’s there now Nick ;) when did you ask prior to January?
We’re working on getting IPv6 going ASAP, I will update these comments once I have a more exact timescale for you
Did you get a subnet assigned this morning ? If not you’ll be looking at Monday now due to sonu would of finished for the week.
bargain might have to get one, even for a dns server
Capitilization in offer title is a bit inconsistent.
Do you offer 128MB plans ?
The only plans we offer are visible at http://www.BHost.net/openvz or http://www.BHost.net/xen – unfortunately we don’t do 128MB plans
Any chance to solve this issue? Ticket number #31511.
Is IPv6 available ?
I’ve had a ticket open with Bhost for 10 days now explaining that my VPS won’t boot after re-imaging no matter which of the provided images I use. As yet I’ve not received any kind of response despite following it up two days later and asking for a cancellation.
Obviously this may be an isolated incident but thought it worth mentioning whilst I’m here looking for a replacement.
That’s terrible news, I do hope you get it sorted. I Googled them and they have bad reviews about the support they offer. No doubt another IT company just selling extra space off their server, everyone is busy doing there 8-5 job and have no time to answer questions.
We are in correspondence with “bhost user” working to resolve their issue to their complete satisfaction, and have offered them a refund as compensation.
Does this mean you can only use the coupon until the end of August (but the 40% discount is recurring), or that the discount itself only lasts until the end of August?
The first. All of the coupons are recurring but you can only use them until August.

Firstly, apologies for this. I am investigating what happened here and we will be back in touch with you directly.
Your tickets relate to affiliate payments, according to our terms https://www.bhost.net/affiliates please allow up to 120 days for Affiliate payments to be processed. We process these every few months, depending on your desired payment method (PayPal, bank transfer etc). Please be assured your ticket is still pending processing and your affiliate payment will be made soon. Thank you for your patience.
Just to update you, we have no outstanding affiliate payments. If you need to request a payment, you can do so by logging into the affiliate system at http://www.BHost.net/login
First of all, BHost is a best hosting I know! All my tickets has been resolved, all things works perfectly. Thanks!
My question: My current renewal period finished at 28/01/2014. Can I extend it for another year using this coupon? Can I have a discount in this case?
Thank you for the great service!
If you put in a ticket with accounts, we’ll see what we can do.
These guys are hopeless. I waited weeks for a response to tickets. I eventually cancelled because I just could not get responses from them, they then charged be another month, I complained and then days later I finally got a refund. They claimed they had sickness in their staff and could not respond. So if you want fast response you better hope no one is sick.
I’m sorry to hear about your poor experience. We had some staff shortages which resulted in delays processing tickets. We are currently replying to all tickets within 24 hours and are recruiting for a new member of the support team to help improve things even more – https://www.bhost.net/jobs if you know anyone who might be interested! Thanks.
I host a couple of websites on a 256MB VPS from BHost, it works great, never had problems with it.

Do you allow VPN on your VPS?
Yes, we do. Subject to terms and conditions – the following is forbidden: “The reselling or provision of Virtual Private Network (VPN) services to the general public or to persons unknown to you (though the use of VPNs for non-public use are permitted)”. Hope this clarifies.
Perhaps you should add to your terms:
‘if you are paying £2.00 for a server dont expect a live server always and we’ll be arsy about it if you contact us’
Ridiculous! Stay away from them!
How many Ghz are yourll offering per core ? OpenVZ Iron
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for!
Meaning BHost is a cheap VPS operator.
*** Their support is REALLY poor ***
It has been 20hrs since I order 1 vps and already paid the bill
but I haven’t receive any mail and acc info
When using the “reboot” command in any version of linux, the VPS goes down instantly without shutting down and the server doesn’t restart. I’ve opened a ticket about this and after a day someone replied that someone is looking into it. As of yet, it’s still not fixed.
Also, my VPS went down the other day and I was unable to boot or re-install via the control panel. I opened another support ticket but this went un-answered.
BHost’s support is slow which is not good for business.
I’ll be finding a new provider this week as I don’t recommend BHost.
Exactly waht happened to me, they are rubbish because they dont know what they are doing.
dont go near these unprofessional people, they have rubbish experience with dealing with customers in their lives. My server has been down for more than 48 hours! and they havent replied to any tickets. I called and he told me im not entitled to call them
Ive very happy with them so far, server runs very well. I’ve phoned them once and they where great, very polite and professional. My tickets have been answered the same day also, one ticket took 2 days.
Happy customer here..
WHAT A JOKE THESE PEOPLE ARE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
VPS PERFORMANCE IS SH*T
SUPPORT IS SH*T
Had a ticket open for 2 weeks about my speed being limited to 60kB/s when all I have ever run is a few wgets for sources and some updates (it only became this slow after the refund period) 1.96 GB of 250 GB Used
Tried to get one of these. Didn’t really work out. I ordered, but it was not set up automatically. After a day or two I tried to contact them via the site and then twitter. After no word for almost a week, I opened a paypal dispute to get their attention. I got a response after 23 hours. No reply other than “full refund”.
IMO a pretty bad way to do business. I would have been happy if they’d just set up the VPS.
Sorry to hear this – not sure why this happened, most orders get fulfilled instantly and if not within an hour. If you give me a reference number of some kind (e.g. an order number) I can look you up and ensure you get a few months free VPS for the inconvenience.
Hi everyone, we are absolutely committed to customer satisfaction. Remember if there’s anything I can do or if you’re not happy with a ticket response please email management AT BHost.net and I’ll ensure it get sorted to your complete satisfaction. Thank you.
Hi Nick, this is better. I have also experienced bad customer service from some of your staff. I just wanted a fix not a refund as was the case.
Hi Sean, sorry to hear about this. If you let me know your customer number here or email me at management AT BHost.net I will review your account and ensure we get this sorted.
Just ordered mine – been waiting 2 hours now, hopefully it’ll arrive soon. Thought it would of been fairly instant with it being a VPS. Will update with progress once received, as well as some reviews on the box.
Hi Ant, how are you finding the service? We’d be happy to hear your feedback – management @ BHost.net
