I’ve lost count of the number of brands he has by now, but he sure must be running a good show to be able to come up with these offers and be able to survive! VPSDime was launched some months ago and has introduced the first ever 6GB RAM for $7/month deal. In addition to that, Santa Oktay added even more insane offers. Enjoy these while you can, before he heads back to the North Pole! Read more about VPSDime here.
More offers inside!

I would LOVE to buy one of these servers, but their AUP greatly limits what most people would use this much RAM for.
Well, we only limit Minecraft on these plans really. We allow it on bigger plans. Other than that, you can use it for everything legal and that does not hurt your neighbours!
If you allow it on bigger plans, does that mean the 6GB one? I run a tiny Minecraft server for like 5 friends, and I was looking for a server with more RAM so we can play around with plugins and such.
If that is allowed, I will buy one of these deals in an instant.
It’s allowed on 18GB and bigger plans. However, if you create a ramdisk and put all your world and plugins there, we can allow you if it doesn’t use lots of CPU.
Well then, consider me a customer. My current host is legitimately screwing me right now. I’ve had my newest VPS for not even a week yet, and they’re accusing me of a DDoS for some odd reason. I should have researched them a bit more before even giving them a cent.
HO HO HO!
Please note that that unlimited bandwidth on 1GB ram plan is a typo! :) It has 1TB Bandwidth.
That’s what I get for copy-pasting that table, sorry dude!
I’m even adding more craziness. 6GB plans are deployed on SSD cached nodes by default from now on!
So the option to pay 10usd for the 6GB ram for Dalas servers doesn’t makes sense?
Yeah, you can just purchase without it and it’ll be provisioned on a SSD cached node.
Great! Even if this wasn’t the case, you’ve got yourself a new customer!
i can install windows on 512MB RAM or 1GB RAM?
It’s an OpenVZ, so no you can’t.
*OpenVZ/Custom
I’m still in doubt about this
You cannot install Windows. Look for KVM, Xen HVM or VMWare plans.
Hi, I noticed that the TOS forbids use of the VPS for digital currency mining, which is a good thing. Does this extend to non-mining uses of currency? E.g stores, block explorers, wiki sites, etc. I’ve been looking for a place to for projects to benefit the community.
Specifically do you auto-ban accounts based on process names (e.g. if you see “bitcoind” appear, irrespective of whether or not it actually consumes CPU power).
Sure, you can do everything with the digital currencies except mining.
Cool plan~ Do you guys provide native IPv6?
No IPv6 at the moment :(
great servers/service … i had one for a month was awesome. i just have no use for that much ram! had to let it expire. definitely worth every penny though!
We have lower ram offers now. Grab one of them! :)
can i run proxy for personal use ?
Sure.
No vswap? Upgrades(space/bw/ips) possible(later)?
There is vSwap as the same amount of memory. Upgrades are possible except storage.
Hi plans say OpenVZ/Custom… I need FreeBSD but it don’t work with OpenVZ, so does ‘custom’ here means that we can get KVM instead at same price and can install FreeBSD? I am intrested in 2GB RAM $48/year plan.
Custom means we are using a WHMCS module that connects to SolusVM. So you can do everything you want to do on the billing panel itself. The virtualization is OpenVZ.
These are the speeds I got on the server

can i use for irc (eggdrop & znc)
Is the Disk Space 30GB/60GB with 6GB Machine?
60GB
That means, it’s an additional upgrade from your General Plan of 6GB Machine? I wish I could move to you but I already signed up with INIZ. Will the 60GB Space valid forever? Or only for this Christmas & General Plan will stay at 30GB?
It’s just a Christmas promotion. Regular plan is 30GB
If i buy a 2gb plan now, can i later upgrade to the 6gb option (possibly in couple of months, with sort of matching deal/price to this 6gb offer?). My current needs do not require a 6gb plan, but i suspect within few months i might.
Also would like to know a rough idea of if and when you might have ipv6’s available. Any specific reason why you do not have these available, and would you be offering these in the near future?
Sure, upgrade is possible. Our DCs do not support it, yet.
I can ensure that @Serverian is one of the most responsive and helpful providers in this LEB and LET community. I have been using one of the 6GB offers in VPSDime for 3 months by now and it’s running just great. Had one of his 2Gb Cloudive KVM package in past and that was also cool. Really likes this man and his efforts.
Definitely Recommended.
The IP address showed on your website is wrong, 192.211.62.100 for LA, 162.217.135.4 for Dallas… and ping tool is not working.
Are you telling me that I get two cores and each of them limited to 700MHz?

Network nice except the extreme Leaseweb, very good I/O speed. But still the CPU frequency is too low
The CPU frequency will get limited for a while if the usage goes above a threshold, then returns back to normal.
How is the threshold? I got the same situation, I run some benchmark but also got very low CPU performance with limited frequency.
The support staff told me the same word: it returns back to normal while daily usage.
But how can I to know this limitation would not destroy the performance while daily usage?
At least, I need to know how to measure this threshold and I can evaluate what kind of applications fit for this.
Yeah I only get 700Mhz too. @serverian can you explain this? You have to mention about this in the advertisement.
Much better than me, I got only 375 MHz on Dallas node.
Not sure if it’s related but I am getting quite a good speed.

It’s a auto throttling mechanism. If you use more than a core (2500MHz) for more than 30 mins, you get throttled to 1500MHz, then after an hour back to regular speed. When you have 2 cores, each core gets 750MHz as a result. It’s just a way to prevent abuse and high loads on the nodes. Nothing to worry about.
Ironhide, which node?
Why Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X5660 ? Aren’t you using E5 on All Node?
Jr, which node?
Do you have 256mb plan?
We do not unfortunately.
Can I run a game server on this?
Who can answer me if I purchase rate “6GB RAM”, how many cores I get and what will be the frequency of each? It is desirable to explain in detail. Thank you!
Can’t go wrong with VPSDime! Or really anything Oktay does.
I’m very satisfied with my plan and having been using it with VestaCP to host my main website and several others.
Hello
Is it allowed to run a mining pool (p2pool) on your VPS?
Their hosting is remarkable. I’ve hosted 3 sites on which i have no lag.
The first vps in ages that can run wordpress websites without lag. Thank you kind sir.
Only had this VPS for a little over 2 weeks but I’m very happy with it. I had an issue with a particular application I wanted to run and VPSDime found the problem and fixed it quickly and pleasantly. Worth noting that I had googled to try to find a fix to no effect but VPSDime was able to find the answer that I could not. I’m very happy with the performance of the VPS and have not experienced a moment of down time yet.
I am using 6GB Plan since last 1 month.
I am happy with server and service given by VPS dime both.
Hey there!
I am considreing buying 6GB RAM x2 plans, one to host a mysql Data base and teh other to host a wordpress site along with owncloud… would you guys recomemnd this provider for such tasks ?
I wouldn’t personally recommend this host. I bought a 18GB ram server and have had nothing but problems. The server is constantly restarting because of “high load” although the load average is only around 1. They also would limit the CPU to 42mhz making it completely unusable.
If it’s not over the load of 2 for 2 hours or load of 4 for more than 1 hour, your VPS can’t get restarted. Those are the rules we apply. It’s very well written on the TOS as well.
yip glad i so stayed away from these chaps you know when you get a bad feeling i had one from the start even contacted them over minecraft lol they wanted me to run 10 slots on 18 gig ram lol im running same thing on 1 gig ram with 1 gig burst and running like a dream
bigger ram dont mean better provider or better service and wow what a way to limit your clients cpu
all that ram and no way to use it lol
It’s not about RAM. It’s about the trouble you do while running your minecraft server. We only tolerate that for the bigger plans which have more flexibility. We not a minecraft host. Lots of professionals use our service without an issue.
I host Minecraft PE servers which is the mobile version of Minecraft. This version doesn’t use up nearly as much resources while hosting and I’d really like to host with you guys. My current host is screwing me over and you guys seem like a really excellent host.
Nobody has ever sent a denial of service attack to my servers before, and they’ve been online for almost two years. I wouldn’t be causing any extra strain on the network or causing any trouble.
bit torrent / deluge allowed?
No. Torrents are not allowed.
Is the 6GB RAM with 60GB storage still available?
Why is it saying extra 3$ for SSD while you say it’s by default?
I saw on the site before you allowed Minecraft on the 18 GB plan. When I read your ToS it seemed it changed to not being allowed at all. Do you still allow it on higher plans? If so is there a client limit?
By the way I highly recommend these guys. I have been paying for a 6GB server for almost half a year and it is a legit and stable service. Best deal out there!
I contacted the support team and they no longer support minecraft :(
I wish that this would be updated.
Once i buy this 6GB RAM plan, how do i run my website on it , its a mysql php based, do i need to install mysql php apache on my own , or you people do it , also do you have a toll free number .
Thanks,
Anthony.
