Arjit from CrownCloud has two exclusive offers available for LowEndBox readers.
VPS-128
| VPS-512
|
CrownCloud were founded 8 months ago. This is their first offer to be published on here, however they have self-posted several offers on LowEndTalk. They are not currently a registered company, but are planning to become one in the near future. You may be wondering why we haven’t listed any Bandwidth allocations, it is because all vps are connected to 100Mbit ports and bandwidth is “unmetered” subject to fair usage (user can’t use 100% of the port 24×7).
CrownCloud provide 1 IPv4 per plan, however, you can purchase more for an extra $1 per IP per month. Currently IPv6 is not available and they do not have any ETA on when they will be IPv6 ready. They did mention though, that each VPS will be assigned 10 IPc6 when they eventually can provide it. They accept PayPal or Bitcoins as payment methods. Torrents and IRC servers are not allowed but Adult content, private VPNs and IRC clients are welcome. To read their complete Terms of service, check out this. They don’t currently have a refund policy but an exception can be made in special circumstances.

I’ve used CrownCloud for a few months and they’re one of my favorite providers. Cheap and reliable VPSs with a knowledgeable and helpful staff! Their promotions can’t be beat!
I’m not seeing the LA servers on their main page but they are available on the order page: https://crowncloud.net/clients/cart.php?gid=9
So, the term cloud is just in their company name, right?
Yes, the term cloud is just in our company name. :)
Also, would like to add VPS(s) are activated manually, setup takes between 12 – 24 hours.
setup takes 24 hours?
Great offer by a GREAT company a+++
Out of stock for the 128 plan
Back in stock now :)
Just a heads up if you are a customer from Asia, GorillaServers only has HE connectivity, so don’t expect latency to be even semi-decent if your main audience is from China.
AFAIK GorillaServers is single homed as well and only uses HE.
Good offer though :)
Thanks :)
Nope, GorillaServers are not single homed,

Thanks :)
GorillaServers have added a few more peers to their network and are NOT single homed anymore,
http://bgp.he.net/AS53850
:)
How does this HE connection link to the southern cross cable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Cross_Cable hence hows the latency to Australia, New Zealand?
I did a test ping from Melbourne, Australia and the ping is around,
Min : 177.2 ms
Max : 178.6 ms
Average : 177.6 ms
Speeds also should be good :)
Which ISP are you with? Are you sure you are on the Southern Cross cable? It might not always route that way and should test that.
If you use the Internode looking glass that should use Southern Cross.
Added more stock of the 512 MB RAM plan and 128 MB RAM plan.
Thanks !
I can’t find Bitcoin in payment method
I just emailed them directly to get a payment address.
Yep, Email us at support[@]crowncloud.net and we’ll take your order in Bitcoins..
I can’t setup VNC to connect to my Linux VPS on CrownCloud… is there some sort of firewall or configuration on VPS’ to prevent VNC connections? I keep getting authentication errors when I try to log in to the VNC with the correctly set password. I’ve spent two nights already trying different ways to get connected :(
I think one of the guys at CrownCloud, email’d you last night and sorted the issue out ? As some did have the same issue and I do recall helping him out fixing the issue.
I would like to know if tun/ppp is allowed?
Hi,
Yep, Tun/TAP and PPP can be opened from the VPS control panel itself
There guys offer a terrible service. They wasted my time and I lost quite a bit of business because of them and they have no shame.. Please everyone be ware
Hi,
We did deliver what you asked for, there were delays in between when the datacenter ran out/was short of IPs and we had to get you IPs from elsewhere and get it announced at the datacenter which takes 1 – 3 days minimum since all the upstreams need to announce the block/accept it. We did credit you back the time you lost during the wait on each of your servers irrespective of weather they were affected by this wait or not (at this time, you had 2 servers running perfectly fine) after this a server which you rented out had one of the HDDs fail which we got replaced and again credited back the time, we’ve done it all possible from our end to keep things as smooth as possible including setting up a DHCP server on each machine so that your VMs can get IPs assigned to them easily. Really sorry this did not work out, perhaps another host from LEB can accommodate you without any issues or bumps along the way.
