Ok so, avoid them. 4 hours after I signed up with them for a year on the 4gb OpenZV plan ($50/year), they had a sale that was half the price for the same plan ($25/year). When I asked for a half refund, they refused, and then when I asked about a full refund, they dragged out the tickets saying they only had a 3 day refund policy. Not very nice.

Very lousy hosting company. Doesn’t respond to tickets and their product is always down.

Not impressed with this host, nearing the end of my 1 yr and will not be renewing.

I have been monitoring the 2 KVM VPS’s I purchased around a year ago using zabbix a zabbix server hosted elsewhere, the hosting provider does weird things at odd hours and doesn’t have clear a explanation as to what happened… ‘its working now’ is the theme they want to close their support tickets on, which makes this a highly unreliable host.

Just trying to figure out what happened to avoid this happening again is an exercise in futility with DCNHost.

They are either moving VMs across hypervisors, pausing them and starting them again, making changes to the network that they hope wont be observed idk and at this point idc.

Some notes on commenting on LowEndBox:

  • Do not use LowEndBox for support issues. Go to your hosting provider and issue a ticket there. Coming here saying "my VPS is down, what do I do?!" will only have your comments removed.
