If you had a grandfathered GSuite free legacy account, it’s time to say goodbye.
“If you have the G Suite legacy free edition, you need to upgrade to a paid Google Workspace subscription to keep your services. The G Suite legacy free edition will no longer be available starting July 1, 2022.”
Note that this does not apply to @gmail.com emails.
To be fair, Google has been allowing people to grandfather their GSuite accounts for 16 years, so people have already gotten a lot of free service.
