OpenVZ or KVM?

If you’re new to the VPS market, you might be wondering why you’d pay $4/year more for KVM versus OpenVZ.  For a lot of people, it probably doesn’t matter because you can run a Linux VM and do nearly whatever you want with it on OpenVZ.  However, if you want to run a non-Linux VM (e.g., *BSD or Windows, or something only available via a custom ISO), or if you have specialized networking needs, you want KVM.  If you don’t, save money!
