I also enjoy using LEBs! I have an empire of little guys for VPNs, larger guys for apps, and big guys for databases and storage. When I'm not in front a screen I'm into German Shepherd dogs, quality knives, target shooting, theology, tabletop roleplaying games, and forest hiking.

LOVE IKOULA !! GREAT HOST !!
Remember they will ask for ID!
Bought a dedicated server from Ikoula, and was very excited initially, but am no longer. How on earth does one SSH into their server? They don’t provide a UN/PW, don’t email any connection details. Searching the knowledge base for “SSH” has nothing. Really unbelievable, like selling a car with no car keys. Lastly, the coupon code, IKLET50 does not seem to work either.
The 50% was a short term deal by the looks of it! And I’ve never had an issue with receiving SSH connection details. Maybe contact them via phone call as then you will get a response and their numbers are free!
There’s also no way to call and get support or speak with someone unless you speak French due to their auto-attendant being in French. Love to see all this get refined, but as it is it’s a bad experience.
Ikoula offers the following support:
4×7 technical support
Our technical teams are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
However, from my experience it’s certainly not possible to reach support 24×7 or receive a timely response. Try it out, try reaching out to support after hours and see if it’s possible or you can truly get a response, or you even get a response the next day. Try and find a support number, once you do, try calling it after hours, see what happens.
Really frustrating experience.
