Iniz - KVM in Amsterdam and OpenVZ in New York, Los Angeles and Amsterdam

INIZ-Budget-VPS-SSD-VPS-Managed-VPS-Unmanaged-VPS-2014-01-23-09-25-21Patrick, from INIZ, has sent the community 7 exceptional OpenVZ as well as a KVM offer from Amsterdam. INIZ has been featured many times before, and reviews from users have been quite stellar throughout the life of the company. They have also achieved 3rd place in the Top Provider quarterly poll three times in a row. The nodes that the virtual servers are hosted on are quite beefy, and very generous. They consist of Dual E5-2650 CPUs, HP RAID with flash cache and 10x4TB RAID10 disks in the Netherlands, and Dual E5-2620v1/2 CPUs, LSI 9271 RAID with CV and 8x3TB RAID10 in the United States for both of their locations. A great advantage at INIZ, which we do not see every day with other providers, is the use of dual 1Gbps uplinks for redundancy at the node level. rDNS entries are easily, and instantly configured via SolusVM, eliminating the need to waste countless hours by opening a support ticket for it to be manually configured. All offers include 1 IPv6 address by default, additional IPv6 addresses can be requested by opening a ticket. With these seven offers I am sure that there are plans that satisfy everyone’s needs. If you are a current customer with INIZ, please do share your reviews and comments below.

Unlike the majority of providers here on LowEndBox, only a few actually run their own BGP session. INIZ is one of the few and proud. They run their BGP (AS62599) sessions at each of their locations with the US, as well as the EU. Not to mention that they are also now a RIPE member, congratulations!

uptime ain’t the best but for such a low price it is great as a vpn server.

We haven’t had any long periods of downtime for months except for any planned maintenance (NYC mainly). Our NYC had some issues few weeks ago but that was due to emergency maintenance by our upstream.

To the contrary in LA. I’ve had no downtime for the last 39 days, and before that 56 days. I’m pretty sure the downtime in between was me playing around anyway.

Here is an uptimeRobot monitor graph I see for an VPS in NY in the 162.220 IP range):

      http://i.imgur.com/cw2brf9.png

You guys have all shown the VPS uptime, indeed the VPS is always up but the machine could be done.

@David: I have never said “bad uptime”, I just said it is not the best. There is a huge difference between saying bad versus not the best.

Public VPN is not and I am not hosting a public VPN.

I merely said uptime is not the best and see how many times I get attacked by all those fanboys of INIZ? You could believe in what you believe but you don’t have to attack others just because they don’t believe the same thing you do.

Long-term customer of INIZ since it was called StormVZ. Extremely happy so far, and Patrick’s always there to fix any issues you may have. Downtime does happen, but it’s very rare. I’m extremely happy with the service I’ve received so far, and, for the price, it’s one of the best providers out there.

Current customer here, love your service. I was wondering if you do custom plans?
I’m looking for a 2 GB KVM machine in NY.

If you believe this is possible, what’s the best way to contact you to discuss? Support ticket?

    Thanks

PS – I highly recommend Iniz, they have far higher quality bandwidth than most people I’ve been using, and with the exception of the NY datacenter move I haven’t had any downtime with them.

If you have any pending invoices please pay them immediately or contact us as soon as possible to get your service reactivated.

Surely you should get a warning if you actually are using a high amount of CPU and also prove that a customer is.

That was the last answer, not really customer friendly!

    —-
Well, first of all why do you want to run a Unixbench? Apart from wanting high number, it determines nothing in terms of real usage that you will probably do on the VPS.

If you are looking to just benchmark every day or run DD, their are alternative hosts to do that at.
