LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

Is There Still Money to Be Made in Web Hosting? Yes.

ProfitPeople frequently debate whether the hosting market is saturated, oversaturated, polyunsaturated, or some other form of full.  I think everyone agrees that it’s not like the 1990s where if you could spell HTML you could sell hosting to a line of people seeking to Surf the Information Superhighway.  But is there still opportunity for a hosting company to grow?

According to Fortune Business Insights, who released a report recently entitle “Web Hosting Services Market, 2021-2028” the answer is an unqualified yes.

The market is expected to grow to $267.1 billion, at a compounded annual growth rate of 18% over the next 7 years given its present $75 billion size.

The report lists the following growth drivers:

  • Emergence of Hosting Services for Startups to Boost the Market
  • Incorporation of AI in Web Hosting Services to Open New Vistas for Market Growth
  • Agreements between Social Media Giants & Web Service Companies to Intensify Competition.

Well…that’s just how consultants talk.  You can get a copy of the report here.
