RackNerd submitted their March Madness specials to us recently, which we thought was worth sharing as this is RackNerd’s first LEB offer that includes their new offering: Ryzen 3900X VPS’s with NVMe storage! For those who don’t know about RackNerd yet, they were recently voted by the LET community as the #1 top provider and they’ve certainly earned a solid reputation for providing excellent service and support.
For March Madness, they shared with us both Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen plans. For those who have performance oriented requirements (or just love seeing insanely fast benchmarks!), you may want to consider one of their new AMD Ryzen VPS’s!
All plans are instantly set up after payment. Their WHOIS is public and you can find their ToS/Legal Docs on their website. RackNerd is a registered business, with real office space (you can view their office photos here). They accept PayPal, Credit Cards, Alipay, Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ethereum, USDT, UnionPay, iDEAL, India NetBanking, India UPI, and Boleto as payment methods.
Here’s what RackNerd had to say:
“We are now announcing our BRAND NEW AMD Ryzen 3900X with NVMe Storage in New York. Our commitment towards expansion is clear, we continue to grow and prosper. This wouldn’t be possible without you, thank you for supporting RackNerd!
We will be expanding our Ryzen product line around the globe. We’ve committed to over 6 figures worth of hardware on our initial order, and this is just to initiate the launch! More exciting announcements to be announced.

Hey Dustin,
Is there a difference in cpu performance between the Intel 3x vCPU and the AMD 2x CPU?
I am actually using a 3x vCPU VPS with you guys right now, pretty happy with it so far but was looking to maybe upgrade to something with a bit more power behind it that’s also not much more expensive.
Hi Rakeen, thank you for asking! Performance wise, the AMD processors are amazing when compared to Intel in most cases! So if you’re considering an upgrade, this would be a great choice when you’re ready for it. Though if the current configuration/price point serves your needs, we encourage you to stick with it until the added resources are needed. Totally up to you, we want to help wherever we can.
1 Ryzen core = 2 Intel cores effectively.
You can check the geekbench scores, the Ryzen core score around 1000, whereas Intel scores around 500.
So even though the Ryzen VM has 2 cores instead of 3, they’re going to be 33% faster than 3X Intel Cores.
Hi Di Wu, so true :)
picked up a VPS here on black friday and have been happy with it.
thinking about migrating my other instance from vultr over here to save some money.
Hi Ashton! Thank You for allowing us to be your provider! Happy to hear that our services have been good to you, we’d love to grow with you.
We’re looking forward to earning more of your business. If you need anything, we’re here 24×7 to help.
Great ryzen deals! I ordered a 2.5 GB Ryzen plan, initial impression is pretty damn fast. Worth the extra money IMO to just go with a ryzen plan, but i’m biased since I’ll be the first to admit, i’m an AMD fanboy. I even run my home PC on an AMD Ryzen (but it’s a cheap ryzen 3100) :P
Anywho will get to work on setting my new server up and post another review later.
Hi Kolchy – that’s awesome! Thank You for making the move and trusting RackNerd with your business. We sincerely appreciate it!
AMD’s I believe have a major performance advantage today – so can’t blame you for grabbing one of our AMD deals over the Intel deals.
Please feel free to reach out to us at any time, we’ll be here to help.
Well I pulled the trigger and bought a ryzen vps. Loving the performance.
Hi Ryan, that’s awesome! Happy to hear that you’ve obtained one of our deals and that you’re happy with the performance.
We sincerely appreciate your business.
Ordered the 2vcore/2.5GB yesterday night. Haven’t done too much yet but seems really fast and snappy so far. Pretty nuts for the price. Hoping for good uptime & that the performance doesn’t plummet :)
Hi jm, thank you for giving RackNerd a shot :) We sincerely appreciate your business.
Happy to hear that performance is great, that’s our goal :)
Are theses prices for the first year only or renewable ?
Hi t5555, great question!
Pricing is recurring — so feel free to purchase, renewal will be the same discounted pricing. If you prefer, you can renew early and or extend your billing cycle by a few years.
We hope to work with you.
Anything left in Amsterdam as seems to be not on the location list?
Hi Frank!
Amsterdam is currently sold out, along with a few other locations (we’re selling out quickly) so when ordering only locations with inventory will reflect that within the dropdown. We’re working to replenish the stock in locations that are sold out.
No choice in Amsterdam.
Is there no stock left?
Hi Henry, we’ve sold out quite fast in Amsterdam.
We’re working on adding inventory — if there’s another location that may work for you, we encourage you to grab that location as we selling out fast.
If Amsterdam is required, just reach out via a sales ticket and we’ll inform you once it is back in stock.
It seems that San Jose location is out of stock.
Hi Bruce,
That is true, we’re currently sold out in several locations. Our sale did very well, and we’re sincerely appreciative of everyone who ordered! We hope that you enjoy our services.
For those that want to order, and don’t see a region available of their interest, rest assured we’re working extremely hard on the backend to add more inventory.
hi justin
I am a loyal customer and I always follow your new exceptional offers.
i have only one remark about a vps that i recently bought from racknerd in netherland location but the download and upload speed no longer exceed 150mbit / s.
is there an explanation ??
Hi Rachid Abour, happy to have you as a customer. We sincerely appreciate your business.
As for upload/download speeds – depending on how the test is being performed. A lot of these test servers are free, meaning that many are using at the same time. In addition to test servers being on shared network ports in most cases.
One thing for certain is that we do not port cap – so if you’re able to share the test, we can review. At times users test may be across the map, and or the default geo-location being inaccurate. If you email dustin@racknerd.com I can personally look into it. I’m here to help.
I have picked up another VPS recently from RackNerd and the service is simply awesome.
VPS Performance: Top notch
Customer Support: Awesome – quick and always positive and ready to help
I would strongly recommend them and am going to stick around with them for quite a long time.
Hi Sidd K — thank you for sharing your experience with the community! We’re happy to be doing business with you.
We look forward to working with you for years to come.
I purchased one of the deals you had in New York. I am interested in Atlanta, Dallas and Amsterdam but the stock is currently out. Will there be stock added soon or should I look elsewhere?
Looks like Atlanta is back in stock!
Hi Ivysaur, good eye! We’ve added new nodes in Atlanta.
For those interested in Atlanta, now’s the time to order :)
Hi Rob,
We are starting to replenish stock in multiple locations – though it is possible inventory is quickly sold. So please keep an eye out, and order as soon as possible.
I have been very happy with shared hosting acct and black friday vps. Could not resist grabbing one of the atlanta deals! Hope Racknerd stays top notch for years to come…
Hi Susan, thank you so much for sharing your experience with the community.
We sincerely value your business and look forward to providing you service you can count on for years to come.
Good news:
San Jose will be back in stock within a few hours :) More nodes are coming online here.
I got me one 768 MB SSD KVM VPS and one 2.5 GB SSD KVM VPS Servers, and I must say experience is incredible so far, very fast, even the small baby is not slow at all and for a smaller maybe static website, backup server or e-mail good enough. I installed OpenBSD on both of them and they are rock stable, good network speed to Brazil (which is very challenging), even the small 768MB (Atlanta Datacenter) is surprisingly fast and I get much faster download speeds to my location in southeast Brazil than I get with the larger and much more expensive VPS I still have in Miami with another company. Both are dirt cheap, unbelievable, and very good.
Hi Gerhard Schweiger — awesome! Really happy to hear this.
Thank You for trusting us with your business and for sharing your experience with the community.
“Available in San Jose, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, and Amsterdam”
And then it lists New York instead of Amsterdam
New York is not New Amsterdam anymore……………
Hello fools paradise, good catch!
I do realize the confusion, and while we do offer services in these locations (at times, these particular locations are unavailable). This simply means we’ve sold out in these locations, and while we equally wish had stock available at all times, sometimes our sales are unpredictable. We’ve been experiencing tremendous growth and have already ordered inventory to replenish the out of stock locations.
You can always email dustin@racknerd.com if you see that a location of interest is out of stock, and I may be able to provide you with an accurate ETA and or allocate service within the region.
