Hi All!
We’re back with another awesome deal! Awesome resources, great performance for an unbeatable price.
If you have any questions be sure to comment, we’re here to help.
Thank You for sharing our offer.
Honestly one of the better providers I have used, in a very long time!
I bought a VPS here last year during one of their other promotions and now have a total of 11 VPS with them now spread between different locations with the newer ones being on ryzen. Pleased with the performance and customer support is quite fast.
Thank you Dustin and the team for the fantastic service.
Hi Zack, this is awesome to hear! It’s great to hear about positive experiences, and we’re happy to be part of it.
That’s impressive growth, we love seeing our customers expand. If our service level ever changes, be sure to let me know dustin@racknerd.com — always here to help.
We look forward to working with you for years to come.
I’m a RackNerd user, I hope to be present for Asian dacatenter like Singapore
Hi Mack — Appreciate you doing business with RackNerd!
We have seen a lot of demand for Singapore, especially for our Shared/Reseller hosting product line. We believe that expansion is done through customer feedback (wants/desires) and we’re known to expand where the demand is. I’m happy to say within a month (approx) could be sooner, we will go live in Singapore. You’re the first to hear it :)
Hey Dustin. Are you also looking at some Indian data centers – Hyderabad, Pune or Mumbai?
I have several VPSs with you and would be the first to hop on them.
Hi Chandra, thank you for being a valued customer of RackNerd! We’re always interested in expanding, and to be frank, India would be an awesome location. We haven’t seen much demand from our customers regarding this location, but we should instead create a survey and include it.
We will continue our expansions, growing with happy customers is what we’re after.
+1 for India/Singapore location for VPS.
I think they are going to do this soon
Hi John, we are indeed expanding :) Singapore is confirmed!
We’re both proud and excited!
That’s excellent news. I cannot use any US-based VPS due to bad ping, so an affordable option in Singapore would be an absolute game-changer.
Where can I sign up for updates on this?

Please consider introducing plans that have unmetered ingress traffic.
Major cloud providers all have free ingress, and for the most part, the ingress network capacity is not used as much as egress.
Hi Di Wu! Thank You for the suggestion. That makes sense too since most consumption real world is outbound.
This is certainly something we can consider. If do decide to do this, we’ll be sure to announce this on social media:

I wonder which location supports IPv6?
Hi Ed! Native IPv6 is supported in our Los Angeles DC-02 location. We can route 100 IPv6 addresses free of charge, just open a support ticket.
If you choose a different location, as an alternative we suggest using tunnelbroker.net for FREE IPv6 tunneling.D
Do you offer the ability to backup or snapshot the VPS? And if so, at what cost?
I absolutely LOVE your service, but I am concerned that if something goes bad on the VPS, I will have no way of restoring. I can backup WordPress installs in a heartbeat, and I am. But the underlying infrastructure on the VPS is at risk unless I backup offsite or to another RackNerd VPS.
Either way, full VPS backup or Snapshot capability through RackNerd would be SO great.
Hi Jim — While we do not offer a snapshot feature at this time, you can order another VPS with us, and what we can do is help ensure the other VPS is provisioned upon a different host node (for redundancy purposes).
You can then utilize that secondary VPS as a “backup server” and back up your current VPS onto that secondary VPS. We have a handful of clients who manage their backups this way with us, and it works out well since our services are very cost-effective. You can even choose to deploy the secondary VPS in another location (we have plenty of different datacenter locations to choose from) for extra redundancy.
We can also offer other types of customized solutions upon request, such as offsite backups integrated with Wasabi Hot Cloud Storage – though the first option I mentioned is the most common (and also the most cost-effective).
Dear Dustin:
Is the “backup server” should be the same spec.(eg. Storage, cpus, ram) to the master one or not?
Hi Jacx — it does not necessarily need to be. Generally speaking storage/backup servers can get away with minimal CPU/RAM, just needs to have at least the same amount of storage as your primary VPS (ideally more storage than that to leave extra room for retentions/extra files, etc).
Is it possible to backup VPS or make a snapshot when VPS is online?
Hi Jacx — You could certainly set up a secondary VPS (as mentioned to Jim above) and utilize software/tools such as Restic or rsync scripts, in order to backup your important directories/files.
Is it possible to pay for a year on an amd vps with 4cores 8gb ram?
Where did you find this package? Please provide a link to order if possible :D
Hi Giang, get in touch dustin@racknerd.com
Hi Tyler, Thank You for commenting!
Totally possible, get in touch dustin@racknerd.com and I can personally help.
This VPS is a piece of sh*t. Just trashed my 2 days trying to make it working.
Reach out to their support. usually, they respond within few minutes.
Hi @Anubhav, thank you for commenting! We’re committed to providing fast and friendly support. We are interested to learn more about Dan’s experience as this isn’t the type of service we’re known for :) We’re known for providing fast & friendly support in addition to offering competitive pricing. We believe everyone deserves this.
I’ve been on racknerd for almost 2 years, with 3 servers running docker containers and hosting personal project.
The only time they went down was due to a host failure and it was recovered after I did a reboot.
Racknerd doesn’t oversell and the uptime and network is very reliable.
The only downside is the lack of easy VM backup / snapshot for disaster recovery.
Hi Di — really happy to hear that your experience with RackNerd has been awesome! We sincerely appreciate your business and feedback. We’re always looking for additional features, and one being snapshots (we agree that this would be an awesome addition).
Hi Dan, can you share a ticket number with us to help validate your experience? We’d like to review and assist.
Will these services come back in stock any time soon?
I’m interested in these but they area all out of stock. Will there be more stock?
me too, we have to wait for black friday deal nows, if we get lucky
