TheStack is back! They debuted on LEB in April and then shared another offer in July. Now they’re back with a great year-end sale featuring KVMs in Los Angeles, San Jose, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Amsterdam, and/or Frankfurt. You can get a KVM starting at only $25/year!
Their VPSes ride on RAID-10 SSDs with battery backup, E5 CPUs, and 128GB on their host nodes which means the I/O layer shouldn’t be too badly hit.
TheStack has been around since 2015. They’re a Hong Kong-registered company (2256337). Here’s what they had to say about themselves:
“TheStack was founded in 2015, we strive to make ourselves a top-leading web hosting service provider. The services we provide range from shared hosting, reseller hosting, email hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers and colocation, plus we also provide server management and DevOps consultations.”
If you’re interested in signing up, be sure to review their TOS, AUP, and Privacy Policy first. If you’re still good to go, then you can pay with Credit Cards, Alipay, Wechat Pay, UnionPay, Bitcoin, WebMoney, DOKU, PayTM, India UPI, Paymentwall, or Wire Transfer.

Their website labels the coupon codes as a “Recurring Discount”, is that actually the case? I can’t find the terms and conditions if there are any, so could you confirm whether the prices you gave above are permanent or only for the first year?
Plan 1 order link leads to https://example.com/
This has been fixed, sorry about that.
Plan 1 link should actually be
https://portal.thestack.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=128&billingcycle=annually&promocode=SOPHOMOREYEAREND
Fixed! Thanks for the suggestion.
I don’t recommend this service provider. I have used it for one year with no issues and decided to continue for next year – I payed up front whole annual fee.
After month service stoped working. It is still listed as active in panel, but I can’t access it – it says “contact support”. So I did. Its been over week since I created the ticked describing situation – absolutely no replay. Since I used this service for my own production purposes I was forced to choose different provider. I don’t expect to get my money back, as even support doesn’t hesitate to give me any sort of replay.
Stay warned.
