VPSXtra – $6.30 128MB OpenVZ VPS

Tags: , , Date/Time: July 13, 2009 @ 6:47 am, by LowEndAdmin
Update Jan 2010: VPSXtra has been down since 23 Dec 2009. I think it is gone for good.

VPSXtra Via this WHT offer. VPSXtra, whom have their domain registered in May this year, are offering 30% off recurring discount with the coupon code whtdd30 (which you also get 2x disk space). Their “Byte” plan was $9/month, but after the discount it is now $6.30/month. You get:

  • 128MB guaranteed/256MB burstable memory
  • 20GB storage
  • 100GB/month data transfer
  • OpenVZ/HyperVM

Their website appears to be hosted with InfoRelay in their Washington DC data center.

And you hear it right — they still claim that they use “HyperVM control panel” on their WHT postiong. The <title/> of their front page also says vpsXra.com — so I guess they might be still building their business with bugs here and there.

Update: From various info posted on WHT, looks like this operation is run by this person in Malaysia.
