Jon from IGXHost wrote to me about their recent launch of their Xen VPS packages, which starts from $5.95/month. When you combine it with their current promo code 30FOREVER which gives you 30% off recurring discount, you can get the next level up plan, “XNLIT02”, for $5.57/month. It has
- 128MB memory
- 10GB storage
- 300GB/month data transfer on Gbps
- Xen/SolusVM
They have indeed moved from Ubercenter in Asheville to a new data center in Chicago (their website traceroute to Steadfast). Their domain name has been registered for over a year, but it looks like they are expanding if they are posting positions for sales (and minors no need to apply :). Their domain has been registered until 2017 — hopefully they are also here for the long run.

Looks like I did not check the date when I found that WHT page…
Uptime looks good!

Hey everyone!
Thanks for publishing us on this site again LowEndAdmin. Much appreciated!
And yes, the job offers page is fairly old, positions were filled within a couple weeks when we were hiring.
Our public pingdom reports are fairly new as we only just deployed in the new Chicago DC. We had removed all of our old North Carolina nodes uptime reports as they have been decommissioned.
IGXHost has gotten a couple good reviews on my site. And their plans offer a lot. Plus, gotta love the Xen option :)
You should probably update this as Jon seemed to have scammed everyone.

Just finished going through the thread.. Very sad that people got scammed but good they (all?) managed to get their money back from PayPal.
Haven’t read the thread but you have to wonder why register the domain for that long if it;s nothing but a scam?
Interesting read. Maybe I need to hang out on WHT more often to get those “industry news”.
