Nate from Kazila emailed me their latest LowEndBox-exclusive offer (which is way better than their current WHT offer IMHO). Here is the sign up link, which gets you the following VPS for $6.95/month.
- 384MB memory
- 8GB storage on RAID10
- 450GB/month data transfer on 100Mbps
- Xen/SolusVM
Servers with NorthTXConnect in Plano Texas (test IP: 108.59.33.189). From about us page, they have been in business since January 2008, registered as an LLC in Austin TX, and owns all their hardware. They don’t offer a lot of drive space, and Nate explained in their previous post, as they are using relatively expensive 15k RPM drives with RAID10 setups, and good IO performance has been confirmed by David.

That looks like a pretty good deal. I’m still happy with mine after 2 months (512MB @ $10.20/month). Disk performance is still excellent:
Support has been among the best I’ve experienced.
Hot Damn!
I’m also satisfied with their xen vps’s performace,
since I move on it,no downtime at all in past 1 month
speed test
Are you guys getting something for this? 2 satisfied clients right after an hour of posting? While I can’t even read other reviews about this host? If their IO is as advertised I might be interested. $55 yearly offer still valid?
No, I’m not getting anything for it. Just trying to share my experience.
This is OT- but just curious and hope you do not find it too personal- but what are you doing in the Philippines? Are you a local or an expat?
I’m an expat, but it’s been my home for the last 6 years.
That’s cool David! And hope you continue to enjoy living in there!
I’m just amazed that both reviewers are linking to sites hosted on that network. Well at least they’re hosted within North Texas Connect space. Gotta give them credit for that.
Also amazed by LEA spelling mistake :P
“abut us page”
I give LEA the benefit of the doubt. He’s said a couple of times that English isn’t his first language.
ahh. didnt know that always fort he was english.
I’m amazed by your spelling mistake. “Fort” instead of “thought”?
It’s not a mistake Steve I was on my phone and it was set on Quick type.
[humour]Oh sure. Blame the hardware.[/humour] :)
I am just amazed that how easily amazed you guys are! And yes, I blame my hardware too! Damn these Dell Inspiron’s crappy keyboards. But not being a native English speaker shouldn’t be an excuse as I have been using that language over the last 20 or so years. Anyway. Chill out! This is Internet, and misspelling do happens (sometimes deliberately).
David and Cui – Thank you very much for the feedback. Glad to have you guys on board :)
Jonee – If you are still interested in our $55/year offer, please contact me directly.

Does anyone know if they allow me to install a custom kernel? And if I can create lxc containers on their Kernel?
I started to sign up for this deal, then discovered that there is an extra $2/mo. for an IP address.
It seemed odd to add it as an extra, is this common? (Forgive me if this is an obvious question, I’m just starting out with my first VPS).
Smaller companies without there own IP Ranges/RIPE LIR etc have to pay there upstream providers for the ips and there not usually cheap.
That makes perfect sense. Thanks!
One IP is usually included in price of vps. Additional IPs are 2$.
Their cart has a field “IP Addresses”, where the only choice looks like “1 IP Address” for $2… not great UI design there. If you look closely you notice it’s actually “+ 1 IP Address”, but that’s easy to miss, and the only other option is “None”, for an “IP Address”.
But yeah, I’m pretty sure that means the option of purchasing an additional IP for a total of 2. You’d leave it at None to just have a single IP address (with no $2/month charge). That’s how every other VPS provider works, since a VPS is nearly useless without an IP included by default. Some might include IPv6 for free and charge for IPv4, but I don’t think that’s the case here.
No ipv6?
subbed
subbed means?
Subscribed?
Means I am a spammer…. ¬¬
Nah, just “I don’t own an RSS reader“.
