I’d wish to see some solutions focused on storage, say 500MB RAM, single processor, 500GB HDD

What, specifically, do you need it for that you can’t do with IPV4? Other than a reason to complain about them? I’m genuinely curious.
I ordered a SSD VPS plan with them the other day, and here are my initial experiences.
The server speeds are quick, as I would of expected for a SSD VPS. SSH console is snappy and responsive.
Support is quick (got an answer within 25 minutes), though I’ve only had to submit one support ticket so far for a question that I had.
So far I am pretty happy with these folks, keep it up!
I have paid for this offer and I was happy at first, but here is the thing. Their Ubuntu 16.04 VM VPS is on an outdated kernel version 2.6, which is not the default for this distribution. The default is 4.4. When I talked to the support team, they told me OpenVZ technology only supports old kernels, that’s why. That said, I tried to upgrade to newer kernels from inside the VPS itself but it did not work. My advice is to stay away from them if you want legitimate Ubuntu LTS versions. This one is tampered and caused me trouble to setup a proper development environment.
You dont seem to know a lot about server environments so here it goes.
OpenVZ uses RHEL (RedHat) and most likely using OpenVZ Legacy (called that now/stable). OpenVZ uses a modified Official kernel currently on 2.6.32-754 (yes it get security updates and patches, last was on March 5th of 2019), where new packages (non legacy) can support new kernels upto 3.x but it is an unmodified kernel and runs at limited functionality.
There have been many reports over the years from uses that run OpenVZ (non legacy) and newer kernels and have run into random issue as it isn’t as stable, and gives limited functionality over the Legacy version. Not to mention if they upgraded, image how long it would take for them to have to upgrade all of their clients OpenVZ instances to be compatible with a newer version of OpenVZ or any issues their customers may face when they are forced to update all the packages on their machine, risk having certain packages not support the new kernel, or some feature they relied on just not working anymore.
There is a reason that pretty much all hosts that offer OpenVZ are using the same kernel, its because it works and if you want better control over what kernel your VPS uses, go get a KVM.
Just because you don’t understand OpenVZ doesn’t mean that it is their fault. If you want something newer, you want a KVM service.
I’ve had the same experience. OpenVZ does support newer kernels, they’re just unwilling to invest in their infrastructure. Also they’ll blacklist you when you request a refund as described in their TOS. I strongly advise to keep away.

Is SSH allowed on shared/reseller plans?
I ordered yesterday and I still haven’t received access. almost all services have auto provisioning. they haven’t even processed my invoice (which I paid). I see that I’m not the only one apparently
they just provisioned it. cpu and ram seems pretty low and with 300gb it’s likely to go full soon so beware
Purchased a reseller plan, working great so far with 3 websites and a lot of mail accounts, the only cons are that support takes forever to answer/solve a ticket and they don’t allow php mail function, but the last can be easily overcome with third parties scripts. They also charge 1.5usd annually for ssh access which I think is pretty fair. Overall I’m happy with it and would definitely recommend them unless you are an absolute beginner.
Is TUN/TAP allowed in your VPS?
CPanel WHM is with SSL certificate error (self signed), I requested fix support by support ticket, simply closed my support ticket without responding ignoring my problem. Unfortunate the support and positioning of this “company”.
