Bought a VPS, the 2GB one. Speeds are terrible, I believe due to SEVERELY low processing speeds they allot you. I have had 60+ different VPS in my life and this one takes the cake for the worst.

For reference, I am trying to start up a private minecraft server (one that would host 1-3 players) and it simply can not get through even starting the server. To even load in the 811 achievements (something that should be happening in the first few seconds of starting a server) is taking 60+ minutes to reach that step.

How they can call themselves a ‘performance-centric company’ is laughable. If you can not host a minuscule minecraft hobby server how can you state you aim to service large businesses? Now to see if they actually stick to their refund policy they state in their TOS.

(Also please note I have setup minecraft servers before, my Java is updated, my install is clean, everything is configured correctly and would work on any other typical VPS. This is simply a janky host issue)

The only good things are the setup was instant and the SSD seem to do well. Connection speeds are good too, seems to have less processing power than an arcade cabinet from the 80’s. I have tried the default minecraft server, spigot, bukkit all of them have the same issue. I have tried a clean install of the VPS as well as a clean install of Java.

    Update on my situation:

I tried to refund and they are trying to say they can only refund back to credit with them and cancel my VPS. They are refusing to refund back to my card so I will have to call my card company and try to chargeback. The VPS I was sold was completely useless, it was seeming to run with a sub 200mhz processing speed and could not run any basic application.

They shut down as of December 9th, with only a couple days’ warning. The service was fine… while it lasted.

@James did you get a refund. I bought the service in August this year and they shut down. I had paid for the full year. Is there any way I can get my money back?
