VPS Node Box are a trading name of “Toratek LLC”, who have been registered as a company in North Carolina since 2010. They’ve been providing hosting services for around 14 months now – previously they operated under the name “DrupalCentric” before rebranding to VPS Node Box. Tunneled IPv6 addresses are available but are not automatically issued. According to their ticket, their vps nodes have basic Hardware DDoS Protection and they provide a 99.9% SLA. On their last thread, a reviews was left and I also found this ‘review’ from a user who’s server was being DDoS’d. 96MB has also recently written a review on their service.
VPS Node Box have a complicated refund policy, basically any payments made to VPS Node Box are non-refundable but if you have a valid reason for one then they may grant you one. However, any refunds that they issue are granted on a case-by-case basis. They seem to also offer a Managed DNS Service with each vps. They’re currently accepting payments via Credit/Debit Card and PayPal. As usual, we recommend that you read their Terms of Service and their Acceptable Usage Policy before purchasing.

Can I mount my own ISO?
I want to reach out to LowEndBox and thank them for posting our offer and to everyone who signed up and offer them our thanks as well. Also, I wanted to post some additional information about our services:
– We provide an extensive array of templates for both Xen and KVM, including Oracle Linux 6.3 – Server
– Root passwords are generated randomly at signup (we have written a custom algorithm for this).
– Port Speed is per VPS, our nodes have 1 Gbit connections.
– Our Enterprise Xen/KVM nodes are powered by Dual Xeon E5 (12 cores/24 threads) CPUs and our Business Xen nodes are powered by Quad Core Xeon E3 CPUs.
– Our DDoS protection works at the network level (OSI model), and as such we do not keep detailed logs. When attacks are mitigated we get notified, and our protocol – in case of consecutive attacks, is to suspend the attacked VPS for a short period of time until the attack is mitigated and not repeated. In case of repeated attacks we can null route the IP address in question and assign a new IP address to the affected VPS. We go the extra mile to make sure that our customers are always protected.
Very good specs. Do you provide internal IP for communicating between boxs? How much for additional bandwidth?
If you have more than 1 VPS then we can assign Internal IP addresses. Additional bandwidth costs $2 per Terabyte.

We specified this on our LowEndTalk offer, however for some reason it didn’t make it here. Anyway, we are providing IPv6 connectivity via Hurricane Electric. We are eagerly waiting on our Data Center to finalize their native IPv6 implementation.

Actually the customer was unhappy that we didn’t provide him with a log. Because the mitigation takes place at the network level (Level 3 OSI Model) we do not keep logs. I am happy to say that we did our job and protected his VPS, and I’m sorry that we couldn’t provide him with detailed logs of who attacked him, however I understand that not everyone understands how abstraction layers work when it comes to networking.
There had been many times with my upstream providers to get DDoSed. But, I have never asked for Logs. Because, with that log I can’t do much to him who did it. Rather than that I will be remarking how swiftly the provider mitigated it. So, if you had mitigated the attack swiftly, I will say you were right in your position.

can I get windows on the xen if I provided my own license key?
We have deployed Xen-PV (paravirtualized), so Windows won’t work on it. Windows works only on Xen HVM. We use Xen PV because it is faster. That being said, we do not support Windows at all anymore, not even on KVM. The licensing implications are just to complex for customers to provide their own license and it is not possible for us to provide a Windows license at this price point. So we just decided to completely drop Windows support.

We support ISO images, however we have created templates for KVM, including Oracle Linux, with minimal installations that work really well. If you sign up open a ticket for your ISO and we’ll download it for you.

I would recommend LicensePal.com for those. We have cPanel licenses for $14.95/month, however we don’t think that it is worth to try and compete with established WHMCS resellers.

We don’t plan on restocking the Business Xen line at this time because only customer with very specific needs and budgets have ordered them. The Xen and KVM Enterprise lines perform better and appeal to a much broader customer base.
I am not having credit card (because under 18). So, how can I pay with PayPal?
The LEB page advertises 1TB of bandwidth on *Enterprise KVPS 1024 (KVM)*, but the signup page only offers 640GB. What gives?

tl;dr customer wanted his money back after servers were suspended or not delivered and he didn’t get a response for over 24 hours, and then provider decided to cancel all of his services without refund and charge him a $100 “administrative fee”.
This is based on the first fifty posts, later marcm says that his VPS were online, if this is true then provider’s actions are reasonable.
