NerdyVPS are a subsidiary of PieLayer, who have been around since January 2012. Daniel previously ran ZazoomVPS. He admits he made a few mistakes in the past but that he has learnt a lot since then. Whilst the current port speed for these plans is 100Mbit, they will be upgraded to 1Gbit within a couple of weeks at no extra cost. IPv6 will be rolled out within a couple of weeks. Daniel has informed us that due to diplomatic tensions, they can’t provide services to Klingons ;)
NerdyVPS accept payment via Paypal and Bitcoin. They have a three day refund policy. Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Fedora and SUSE are all supported. Out the box they support PPTP, TUN/TAP and FUSE. Additional IPv4 addresses are $0.85 per month. VPN & torrents are allowed as long as it remains legal. Tor is not permitted. For more information, have a read of their Terms of Service.

We all know he’s trustworthy but the possibility of him selling it is something else.
Aslong the transfer is smooth, and doenst just drop it on like UrPad did with RootGeeks, I don’t see a problem, but yes, perfect summer host timing, and solo, makes it much more harder to manage.
