LowEndBox - Cheap VPS, Hosting and Dedicated Server Deals

VMBox.Co - $7/month or $48/year 3GB OpenVZ VPS in Amsterdam or Phoenix

VPS-VMBox-Co-VPS-Hosting-Providing-Cheap-Virtual-Private-Servers-in-Netherlands-and-USA 2013-10-21 06-27-52Steven from VMBox.Co sent in an exclusive offer to LowEndBox for a 3GB OpenVZ VPS in either of two locations. And you choose the price you pay: $7/month or just $48/year!

VMBox.Co opened about one year ago and was featured not long after on LowEndBox.com. Back then, they had a Luxembourg location, which they now seem to have closed. They recently opened their new Phoenix location (Singlehop) in addition to their Amsterdam (Singlehop) location, according to their website. Servers are loaded with E3-1230v2 CPUs, battery backed-up RAID and 1Gbps ports.

Steven notes no refunds are given if the VPS is as described during ordering. Gameservers, public VPN, Tor, Torrents, IRC and anything illegal are not allowed, but be sure to also read their Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy for more information. Additional IPs are priced at $2/piece and cPanel is available for $12.95/month. Payments can be done via PayPal and Credit/Debit cards through 2Checkout or via BitCoin upon request.

  1. No game servers or IRC? I’m out

Sorry we couldn’t help. Our DC doesn’t allow IRC and we feel gameservers have a negative impact on a shared environment so have decided to not allow it.

Just wonder, why providers discontinue most coolest and rare locations and going back to 1001-th US or NL or DE Money talks, but not for everyone..

        • Steven:

          Hi Lucas,

The reason we moved was due to the LU DC not providing RAID10 configurations and some network issues we wasn’t happy with.

Servers were much cheaper in LU; we didn’t move to decrease costs. It was purely to increase stability and performance to provide a better experience for our customers.

      Hi,

Seems like you was suspended for CPU abuse, we wouldn’t just suspend a customer for no reason. That would just result in us losing money.

As for stealing someone’s database, i’d love you for you post the alledged email i sent. Email headers included too please.

      Looking forward to your response.

What am I missing here, a VPS is “dedicated” resources is it not? So how does one use more CPU or ram than is dedicated to it?

    Question for you guys:

I’m experimenting with cluster computer programming.

If I were to buy multiple VPSs on the same physical server, will the bandwidth between them count against their individual limits?

Just curious how many VM’s you put on those E3’s that only support 32GB RAM…

        • Steven:

          Hi Reece,

Each node will vary depending on resource usage and plans purchased. We don’t have a set number.

          • Nick:

Again, maybe I am missing something here but your plan CLEARLY states 3gb ram… so if your MAIN server only has 32gb ram, you could only have 10 accounts on the server before its “over sold” – so its no longer a VPS you are now shared hosting.

      • Ronald:

        That didn’t answer my question.

Will the bandwidth between two or more VPSs on the same physical machine count toward the bandwidth limit?

I’m experimenting with clustered databases, and I suspect I can break through 3TB exchanged in a given month.

  12. Going through the offer details, all the comments & Legal Policies, I think, the VPS will be of no use. How can we expect something bigger in E3-1230v2 with 32 GB Ram alongside Raid-10 Config where as most of the providers have upgraded to E5 Series -_-

ICMP (ping) from Europe to Phoenix fine – latency 159 ms – ping from Europe to Amsterdam fine latency 59ms (4m/4m DSL) .. If you want a better latency from the Amsterdam box move 3,500 miles across the Atlantic .. 159ms for a box in Phoenix is good ! when you consider it is doing a round trip of 10,000 miles (if you want it in kilometers x 0.58/1 )

I am using this service, it’s gone down multiple times in the last few weeks, down right now actually it seems. When it is up it works wonderfully, however i’m beginning to have my doubts – learning the hard way why open VZ is so easy to oversell and over promise then ultimately under deliver. Good people there it seems, very polite…maybe i’ll try another plan.
