VPSCheap.net’s domain has been registered since 2010 as has the company (in Illinois). They have been featured several times before on LowEndBox.com. Their servers pack one of the following CPUs: E3-1230, E3-1270, E5-1620, or E5-2620. Depending on the server, it has either 4 or 8 hard drives or SSD drives, in RAID10. Bandwidth is unmetered at 10Mbps, which is really a pretty good deal for the price you pay. Their control panel is integrated into the billing panel, so you can conveniently manage everything from one place.

Payment methods accepted are PayPal, Google Checkout, and credit cards. I assume Google Checkout is going to disappear soon, as it is being discontinued by Google. As I wrote before, this offers is hosted with Equinix in Chicago, IL, USA. VPSCheap.net have their own IPs from ARIN. No refunds are given. TL;DR ToS: “No torrents, no TOR, IRC is allowed only if customer does not cause issues.” Give their full Terms of Service a read before you order.

Network test IPv4: 199.175.48.1

Mike notes that no network test file has been given, considering you get 10Mbps unlimited. A test file on a 1Gbps port would give a wrong example.

          • But 10 Mbit/s mean the maximum speed is 5 Mbit/s for vpn since the traffic is in and out. Is that enough for streaming?

    So far, so good with my $10/yr 128mb VPS. Setup and control panel access was instantaneous – I didn’t even need to open the emails VPSCheap.net sent me. The control panel is useful and includes some nice perform graphs. Access across the U. S. and into western Europe is good – the ping is less than 80ms to LA and 100ms to London. I’ve bought a lot of cheap LEBs in the past, and this one has been one of the best. Thanks!
