So I have now paid twice for a box I can’t use yet.
The 2nd transaction has been refunded. This is not normal and could be a hiccup w/ Paypal.
As to being blacklisted, this is a security feature w/ SolusVM. After three unsuccessful logins, your ip is blacklisted for an hour. A knowledge base article exist via the My-Accounts page for an explanation about the different logins.
Please open a ticket regarding any issues via the ticketing system.
Eric – I’m really new at this but I want to get a VPS to open a amazon affiliate account because I was banned in my first one. Is this some what easy to operate and to figure out? is this linux operating system or is it windows based? thank you

It’s been a few days now… Everything was going well until I got an email that I have high CPU usage and my VPS has been suspended.
I find it hard to believe the me writing bash scripts caused the Dual core to spike for an extended period of time… However even if it did I don’t believe suspending and disrupting service if the correct thing to do.
Now I have been unable to use my box for over 14 hours and have not heard back from support yet…
Open virtual has unlocked me. The suspension message was misleading stating it was suspended for CPU. In fact it was suspended for open terminal sessions.
This was due to a program I have that does not close shell sessions properly.
But a warning vs a hard cut off would have been ideal.

As you well know, these are shared resources w/ each node containing quite a number of clients. Hence, any activity that endanger the functioning of a node must be dealt with (per our terms and AUP) to protect our service.
