We asked you seven questions about Black Friday/Cyber Monday 2021:
- Q1: How was your BF/CM spending this year compared to last year?
- Q2: How many offers did you buy this year?
- Q3: How many offers from 2020 that you purchased are you still using?
- Q4: How much in total did you spend this year in BF/CM offers?
- Q5: Did you constantly reload or just get lucky?
- Q6: What was the top priority on your shopping list?
- Q7: Do you have any buyer’s remorse?
Now let’s see what you all had to say and how the typical LowEndBox reader fared in 2021!
The typical LowEndBox reader in 2021 spent the same or more last year (57%, with 38% saying they spent more in 2021).Β About a quarter of readers bought one offer, and another third bought 2-5 offers.Β Nearly 70% of readers have at least one system from 2020 they are still using, while 42% have at least two.
About a quarter of our readers spent under $10 in 2021, while at the other end of the scale, nearly a quarter spent more than $100 (and 13% spent more than $250!).
About a third of readers watched the sites a lot, intermixed with other things they were doing during the event, while about one in six (16%) were frequent reloaders.
And what were they looking for?
- A third wanted the absolute cheapest VPS
- About 15% were looking for cheap storage
- One in 10 wanted a cheap dedi
- 18% were looking in a specific geography
While 5.26% of respondents, when asked if they had any buyer’s remorse said “I debased myself and am ashamed,” more than half had the proper idling glory, YOLO spirit and enjoyed the event.
Hope you had fun!
