I bought a VPS Pools account from bigfootservers several months ago and have been pretty happy with it. The VPS instances work as advertised.

DON’T buy from them ! I got a 4 CPU VPS as part of the Blackfriday deal. VPS went down continuously, for hours at time and they didn’t know about it. When I opened the ticket, the reply was quick enough, under 30 minutes. However, took them 30 mins to an hour to bring it back up .. last for a few hour to 1 day and down again.

They’ve a 9.9% SLA and it’s down a lot more than that for the first few days, when asked about it. They just ignore the SLA and said it won’t happen again. When I cancelled the service, they didn’t issue a refund, I kept escalating the ticket without any answer for 5-6 days. Fed up, I fill a dispute with Paypal and got my refund back within 12 hours.

    Stay away from them !

Avoid unless you don’t mind them being down over weekends or sometimes weeks at a time. Daily shutting down of your nearly idle servers requiring manual reboots. etc…

It’s useless I got a 6 vps pool in their last sale. It keeps going down almost every week. And it goes down for hours like 9 hours the last time.

stay away, I got the 4 pool option and the nodes are down constantly, support team are useless and just say its working on their side even when breaking it down.

Dont make the same mistake – stay clear unless you want to deal with mediocre support and pull your hair out

      @Chris

I wrote the support on Feb 7th about missing PayPal support and they said they are going to fix it within 36 hours max. It is Feb 14th now, so today I opened another ticket, due to the original one left unresponded to. In the new ticket they told me that the issue still has not been fixed and they are working on it…

Don’t Buy, avoid them. Bought a VPS pool but most of the time it stayed offline. Asked for a refund they stalled for days and also took days to reply back. when I finally had enough I filed a dispute with paypal and magically in an about an hour they refunded me. They also reported me to FraudRecord (they told me about it) and even my account is deleted (Well this part doesn’t matter).

One of the biggest mistakes of my life was signing up with bigfootservers.

Continuous outages. Servers rebooted every 2 days. Not worth it. They can’t provide stable environment.
Price is low same as quality of services provided. Below any reasonable standards.
They have 60% uptime based only experience.
    Shit service.
They claim that servers are rebooted when there is heavy load.
My systems were generating 20% CPU load and no more that 500GB network per month!!! and they couldn’t sustain that.
Not worth it. More time wasted to reactivate servers than its worth.

Complete waste of money, in the last 3 months the server I bought from them has been up for 3 hours. Only running cPanel DNS only. They string you along in support but never do anything, my guess way oversold. Would never buy from them again EVER>

Stay Away, it won’t even run a clean install of Centos 7 without shutting down. I don’t know if they are way oversold or just restrict the resources. If you put in a support ticket they reboot the server and say it’s fixed. Then it crashes again.

    Stay clear away.

I have ordered a $29 plan on February 09. I never used it.

Yesterday, when I tried to log in, I noticed there’s no account of mine at all, and after 12 hours of promised “update shortly” I still was offered no explanation on why the account and resources are missing.

Looks like I will have to use chargeback to return funds.

  22. Master Bo:

I ordered the $29 plan only to find my account (with idle resources) removed and support not responding to my inquiries.

Personally, I’ll stay well clear of them after that.

  24. You want to yeet your money out the window and get frustration?

This is a good way to do it.

Spent two whole days down just a handful of days ago. They switched from Apache to Litespeed in that downtime, thinking it’s a fix for their abysmal performance. This breaks a bunch of my stuff and parts of my weblog, which were configured with Apache in mind.

I’m ready to just cough up the dosh and go host with one of these large named companies, if it means I can at least get two nines of uptime.
