With the dozens of hosts who participate on LEB, I generally can’t speak from personal experience. CatalystHost is an exception. I’ve had one of their Minis from a previous Black Friday for several years and it’s worked great as a small VPN server. And cheap, too! Only $12/year.
But there’s more to CatalystHost. They have servers ranging from those Minis up to big 2GB boxes or 240GB storage systems. And these bad boys come with massive bandwidth – 25TB! Their servers are available in Dallas, Seattle, or Tampa.
CatalystHost was founded by some famous LET members: @ryanarp and administrator emeritus @jar.
Their offers are varied and worth checking out no matter what you’re looking for. They are a registered US company (filing number 803528196). You can read their ToS on their web site and pay with Stripe, Paypal, or Bitcoin.
Here’s what they had to say:
“You might remember Catalyst Host LLC, as it has been around since 2012. Catalyst Host LLC was founded by Ryan Arp and Jarland Donnell, with the goal of being honest and transparent in the industry. It’s so easy to hide behind a fake image of “professionalism” and forget that your customers are real people with real dreams that they want to see accomplished by using your product. That’s what led Catalyst Host LLC to take the human approach to hosting.”

very good company I have many years of personal experience
Just wanted to say Ryan is amazing! Been with Catalyst for 4 years and they are top notch!!
The offer is actually for unmetered bandwidth, not just 25TB.
Dated OS selection, at least in Seattle (eg Ubuntu 18.04 is the latest listed release), but that’s pretty standard for OpenVZ.
