LinuxServers.host was launched on September 27th, 2014. They’re relatively new to the business. The company was started by friends as a side career. They are not a registered company, but their WHOIS information is public. These servers are supposedly sold at cost during the start-up phase; the discounts are perpetual, though. There’s a 7-day refund policy in place, allowing you the opportunity to give these guys a shot. If you give these guys a try as a result of this post, please share your experiences with us in the comments! PayPal is currently the only available payment method (and credit cards through PayPal), though more should be added soon. IPv6 is not currently available. SMTP ports are blocked by default. Removing this block is an option, though you’d waive your right for a refund. For more details, please read their Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

During his tenure, Maarten introduced numerous improvements, helped shape editorial direction, and contributed to the evolution of LowEndBox as both a resource and a community hub for budget-conscious hosting users.
With a deep understanding of web hosting, server management, and open-source infrastructure, Maarten brought fresh ideas and steady leadership to the site, bridging the gap between the original vision of LowEndAdmin and the future of the platform.
Today, Maarten remains an active and valued member of the LowEndTalk community (@mpkossen), continuing to share his experience, engage in discussions, and support the broader LowEnd ecosystem.
Security Warning
The install folder needs to be deleted for security reasons before using WHMCS
For anyone who may make an order, there seems to be a bug we just found in our order form. If you use an improper hostname the order wont create the vps. Be sure to use a proper hostname format ex: server.domain.com or domain.com it does not have to be proper domain, just proper format, thank you.
RAID1 nodes?
yes RAID 1 nodes
Hi Brian,
great location with really nice ping to Europe. Any small yearly special for VPN use avaliable (128 MB RAM, 3-5 GB, $8-10/year)?
Thanks.
afraid thats not in our budget
They say they allow CP hahaha…
Hello,
I’m trying to contact the company for already more then 5 hours, but WHMCS is set in maintenance mode.
My VPS is offline for these 5hours+ and I can’t even contact them.
This site has been down for days now. Can’t even access the LinuxServers.host support area. All it displays is a “Down for Maintenance” message. How many days of maintenance can we expect??
Moments after our advertisement here we were victim of a DDOS which forced our DC to pull our server offline. We have been working with a new DC with DDOS mitigation to come back online, we have just been waiting for our ip addresses. All clients with an order whom did not cancel will receive 1 free month of service. No clients should of been able to place an order while we were in maintenance mode, though some got through.
Your support has been excellent and yes, they have credited accounts for downtime.
Server location has changed, please check our site for information. Do not rely on this old post.
