It’s an eye-opening look at how passionately RackNerd believes that empathy and understanding are truly fundamental to quality service. Also, check out this post for more details about RackNerd’s new advanced network management capabilities in their VPS control panel.

Here at RackNerd, we believe you should never have to question whether your provider is truly present and responsive at the other end of the line.
Over on the innovation front, our development team has been burning the midnight oil, fueled by large amounts of coffee :) We’re proud to announce that we have now launched the ability for VPS clients to change their VPS’s IPv4 address by themselves via the self-serve client portal. If you are looking for a VPS with ability to change IPv4 address, look no further, as this process is now automated. More info in the video announcement here.

Racknerd is the GOAT IMHO. Production level product/service with LEB prices. If i could only choose one (I can;t because I have a problem) it would be them.
I bought a vps from them more than 1 year ago and I’m very happy with it.
I just bought a second one but ip is completely blacklisted.
What worked with older one doesnt anymore.
I opened a support ticket and they told me they are forced with a different ip batch from a different provider but I dont think it can be a valid excuse.
The worst part is that I received an email from them warning me they want to change the ip of my older vps so I fear everything works so far will stop working.
Anyone experiences the same? s that even legal?
Regards.
I bought a 2.5 GB KVM VPS, in Los Angeles DC-02 location, from racknerd some months age. All works fine, support is good enough.
Until Oct 16, they switch my ipv4 address. In they notice email, they said, the ip changing will not interupt my server, but the fact is my server status is on, but new ip does not work, no ping, no http, no ssh. I reboot, still not work. I ran “reconfig networking” in control panel as they notice email mentioned, not work. I reboot in resuce mode, the resuce ssh no response, no ping.
I tried ping tools to ensure the ip is vaild or not, but all red globally, no ping response overworld.
I opened a ticket, and they asked my root password, I copy&paste the resuce ssh info to them, they replied that there is imsconfig so they will reinstall system, and asked me to confirm data lose…
No SLA mentioned, no compensate…
Only “too too too Professional” response:
“Please confirm data loss and mention the OS ,SO that we can move forward.”
“Sorry for the inconvenience happened here we have tried to make it up but no luck,Please confirm data loss and mention the OS so that we can re-install your server from our end.”
I guess racknerd tech support also can not ssh my vps, so they have no way to save my data…
