  13. Hi all

Very sorry, missed out this comment earlier/ did not realize what was meant. The plan is 1 TB data, as per our XS plan (http://simplercloud.com/prices). This promo is the XS plan, discounted to $7/mth recurring. The above must be a typo from our side. Apologies. Please note it is 1 TB of data not 3 TB. We will ask LEB to change. Sorry for inconvenience.

@Ndha, we tried coupon, it is still working. select XS plan, then click Use Promotional Code, you will see price is $7.

Sometimes its the routing of packets between ISPs that might cause the delay. Typically, in India, some ISPs route traffic through US. Thankfully, not in my case though. I believe a tracert/traceroute should give a fair indication, do y’all agree?

  21. Maybe I’m greedy for this, as the quality of network to Hong Kong maintains a quite good route, is there any 1 day free trial for the XS service? As I would really want to see if the service fits me.

Would love to know if some VERY SMALL (like 64MB box) plans will be out, I would definitely go for.

      August 2, 2014 @ 4:35 am | Reply
    • One more thing is that the 100MB file test is different from the other one, the speed from Hong Kong to the 5/10/50MB file tests are quite a bit unsatisfactory, but not the 100MB one as it seems rerouted to the HKBN IP, mind to explain what this is about?

      August 2, 2014 @ 4:45 am | Reply
      • rm:

All the test files are on the same IP, so perhaps the reason is that the download speed needs some time to accelerate to the maximum, it doesn’t have the chance to do that on 5/10/50 (since they are small), but it can at the 100 MB file.

As for everyone asking for ultra-small plans, do you realize this is absolutely not feasible due to IP costs? And if it was, they’d already offer them a long time ago?

We are using SSDs, regular maintenance is required to trim the SSDs and upkeep the I/O speed. Our overall I/O speed now is much better compared to say 1-2 months ago and we are still working to further improve it.
