Welcome back, Advin Servers! They hit us up last November with some awesome cheap VPS systems in Dallas. Now they’re back with some tasty deals in Amsterdam. These are a new beta line they’re trying out and pricing is amazing:
- 16GB RAM (!), 120GB SSD, and 4TB bandwidth in Amsterdam: $7.99/month!
- Or step up to 32GB for $15.99/month!
- And if you’re in a go “big or go home” mood, lock in a 64GB system for only $29.99/month! That monster comes with 12 cores, 500GB SSD, and 16TB bandwidth.
So what’s the catch? There really isn’t one, but they’re being upfront about the beta nature of this offering:
Please note that these plans are beta plans, meaning that certain functionality may be reduced. Nested virtualization may not be enabled and we may unexpectedly reboot your VM at any time with or without notice. It also may take a few days for your order to get fully activated, as we manually review orders for these plans. We do not guarantee a specific CPU model, but usually it’s Ryzen, E5v3/v4, or W-series CPU’s.
“Hey there! We’re a Advin Servers, a small hosting provider based in Delaware (USA). We originally started in 2020, and have been growing ever since. We primarily offer budget services, and we specialize in offering services that provide a good “bang for your buck”. We’ve been growing rapidly within the past few months, and would like to provide a special offer for the LowEndBox community!”
One Bizarre Thing
- “The following organizations may link to our Website without prior written approval”
- “We may consider and approve other link requests from the following types of organizations”
Setting aside the confusing English (how could I post a link that makes you look bad to yourselves?) the apparent intent is to say “no one can link to our web site unless they are speaking positively about us”. Wow, I bet there are a lot of companies that would like to have this power!
“If you are one of the organizations listed in paragraph 2 above and are interested in linking to our website, you must inform us by sending an e-mail to Advin Servers. Please include your name, your organization name, contact information as well as the URL of your site, a list of any URLs from which you intend to link to our Website, and a list of the URLs on our site to which you would like to link. Wait 2-3 weeks for a response.”
If I needed a cheap high RAM VPS, their strange policies wouldn’t stop me. They also wouldn’t stop me from linking to them without asking permission first 😀
OK, enough fun: now read more for the offers!

Definitely a neat and unique offer, Advin Servers.
I would jump in with both feet, no life preserver and swim into this offer except for this:
“certain functionality may be reduced”
So, I get the middle plan and they decide to reduce the allocated memory anytime they like. Very enticing but no thanks :)
Hello,
No, we would never reduce the amount of cores or memory after ordering :) When you order a server, you will get the exact specifications that you’ve ordered and that won’t change.
The reason that’s there is that sometimes we may disable certain features (i.e. automatic RDNS or noVNC) or templates (i.e. Windows) in our control panel in order to do some experimentation.
Thanks,
Advin Servers
Thanks for explaining. Hope you go good with your offer!
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for the post on LowEndBox :)
Our terms of service has not been updated in quite a while (last updated was November 2021), so there’s some terms that needed to be adjusted. We’ve now went ahead and revised our terms of service in order to update the “Hyperlinking Our Content” section, as we do agree that it’s quite unnecessary/not really enforceable in the first place!
Anyways, we hope that everyone enjoys our KVM High Memory Beta VPS lineup. A lot of our users have been extremely happy, especially with the performance that they’re getting for the price :) We also have an LET thread here: https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/181186/advin-servers-8-month-16gb-ram-vps-free-let-giveaways-not-clickbait/p1
Thank you,

Could not resist, jumped on the middle plan. Hope it is a wise move.
Nice! Let us know how it goes, Susan.
So far, not bad at all. Little strange about the CPU loads when I have very little on the box at this point. All of a sudden, the CPU goes up and I have very little running and tiny amount of traffic. Using TinyCP and do not see this behavior on other of my TinyCP installs.
Overall, still seems like a god deal and server has been pretty stable. CPU spikes bother me but certainly not a killer for the deal. I have heard there are “bleed issues” with their system and most likely the issue (husband the guru told me this),
The billing is not fixed and at $15.99 a month.
Damn, these small screens are killing me!
“The billing is not fixed and at $15.99 a month.’
Should read:
“The billing IS fixed and at $15.99 a month.”
Invoice in client area says $15.99. But credit card statement: Advin Servers card was just used to make a payment for $17.04
Not sure that this means in client area when looking at services: Network Rate 150 MB/s (1200 Mbps). Hope it means using 150 or the 1200 and not limited to 150.
Hello,
Thank you for trying us out :)
As we have responded in the ticket, it appears that there was some sort of issue with Stripe (our payment processor) that resulted in the overpayment. Stripe automatically refunded the additional $1.04 as soon as the payment finished processing, and we have forwarded you the receipt for that refund. Stripe did this completely automatically, we did not manually refund you. The refund should reflect on your credit card statement within the next 10 days. We will be reviewing our Stripe settings and contacting Stripe support in order to see what might have caused this, but we have never seen this issue happen before.
The 150 MB/s network rate means that you were allocated 1.2 Gbps, which is a little over the advertised speeds on our web page.
Thank you,
Advin Servers
Thank you. Your support desk answered all questions in a timely manner and explained all.
Appreciate the prompt follow up, all good at this point!
Nice offer, comparable with that of Contabo. Pitty they did not go one step lower. Need something like 2cpu/8ram…
Hello,
We considered doing a 2vCPU/8GB RAM plan, but we feel like that would be abused too much and would likely impact sales of our Micro VPS. Moreover, the cost of IPv4 wouldn’t make this worth it compared to just selling 4vCPU/16GB RAM.
Thank you,
Advin Servers
No hyperlinking that might ruin our self impressions. Also your support tickets must contain only compliments about the staff.
Sugar canes and gumdrops servers dot com.
This sounds like an upbeat place to work. I dont really know anything about linux or BSD but I could use the morale boost from working there if they would hire me.
Hi i have sended a support ticket but no reply here is the Ticket ID: #851169
Please Check
Just passed one full week of waiting for a server to be provisioned.
Hello,
We would suggest opening a ticket.
Almost all of our servers usually get instantly deployed, but there might have been something wrong with your server/order that caused it not to get automatically deployed.
Our staff members can assist you and can get your server deployed as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Advin Servers
Resolved quickly with a ticket.
To be clear, it is common when buying LEB deals to need to submit a ticket (around half of my boxes have required this). In this case I chose not to and likely could have had this resolved within standard deployment times if I had done so.
Thanks for sharing your experience Psifour, and I am glad to know the provider got you all taken care of.
I wouldn’t think that submitting a ticket is normally required.
And now the issues start. Woke up with an email telling me my credit card failed for billing. There is nothing wrong with my CC, logged into bank and there has not been any declines.
Another host pulled their funds Sunday afternoon from same CC with no issues. I am 199% certain there are funds to cover Advin.
Opened a ticket:
“Your ticket has been successfully opened.
Unfortunately, due to high ticket and order loads as of recently, our support may be delayed.”
So, my ticket may be delayed and in meantime what happens when their system automatically suspends my service?
Have been satisfied with their service level but this makes me really uncomfortable.
SO, my card that was used to pay when setting up is not good enough now. Something about 3D secure and just verified my bank supports, or at least they state so. Never had issue paying any other host with this dedicated CC.
Here is the kicker: I can use the SAME card to pay invoice via Stripe for a one-time payment with success, but I cannot use the same card to pay recurring? Maybe I am an ole gal and little behind times, but something just does not add up.
Overall, they seem like a great host and hate to say anything negative, but this is worth mentioning so others here know.
Hello,
Unfortunately, due to a recent increase in fraud payments made with stolen credit cards, we’ve made the decision to enforce 3D Secure Payments for most of our clients.
According to our logs, your payment method was not authorized by 3D Secure and therefore was declined by our system :(
The reason why we don’t enforce 3D Secure on Stripe One Time payments is because those payments are done through the Stripe Checkout system.
Stripe will run it’s checks and block out stolen credit cards automatically. If one happens to somehow get through, Stripe will cover the payment out of pocket and fight on our behalf. This Stripe Chargeback protection does not apply to our recurring payments, and therefore our recurring payments are subject to more fraud verification.
Thank you,
Advin Servers
“Stripe will run it’s checks and block out stolen credit cards automatically.
It seems you are implying here on an open forum I am using stolen credit cards. I am not a thief and do not deal in stolen credit cards. I did not steal a credit card, nor did I report my card stolen. I am in my 60’s and have been doing business online since the 90’s, not a credit card thief.
There is obliviously some type of issue with yours or Stripes platform. We run many online businesses that accept credit cards and have never had an issue with Stripe saying our existing customer is using a stolen credit card.
Anyway, I wish Advin servers the best in their future endeavors. Seems like pretty good hosting company other than billing issues with current customers.
Hello,
We are NOT trying to imply that you are using stolen credit cards. We have started enforcing 3D Secure for everyone, not just you :)
With our previous Stripe Radar rules, some people were able to get past them and were able to make successful fraud payments with stolen credit cards.
In order to eliminate the possibility of a fraud payment across all of our clients, we decided to enforce 3D Secure for all of our payments, regardless of your fraud score.
This is because we were receiving fraudulent disputes even with customers/payments that Stripe didn’t pick up on.
Thank you,
Advin Servers
I am sorry, maybe I am not reading what you wrote correctly:
“Stripe will run it’s checks and block out stolen credit cards automatically.”
I do not have a stolen credit card, period the end.
Wishing Advin the best.
May not see eye to eye with Advin, but I will say one thing:
They are honest…
“We were supposed to be able to switch to our new upstream within the same day – causing minimal downtime/packet loss. Unfortunately, due to some delays and issues with power/hardware, this new upstream has been unable to provide us with usable service. We sincerely apologize about this issue – but our hands are currently tied and there isn’t much that we can do other than to wait for our upstreams to figure out the situation.”
Many hosting providers just stay quiet and hope you do not notice issues like above.
Just shows they really do care.
Hi i have sended a support ticket but no reply here is the Ticket ID: #491001 ;
One day ago submit. Just got an template response . No staff member response or resolved. Please contact me. Thanks.
Was loving this service, but now cannot get site pages to load (or if they do, very, very, very slow). Even their client support area will not load and cannot get support: https://i.imgur.com/WBj7JH2.png
Has been getting worse and worse. I am simply trying to move sites and having hell of a time.
I really dislike coming here to gripe but can’t contact Advin to report my issues.
Service 100% out this morning. No working site(s).
Figured it was critical issue so chose that in customer ticket area. Could not submit critical outage to support because I do not have enough points, WTF is points?
Sorry about the delay in response, I only just saw this. You should be able to submit a critical ticket regardless of your support points, you just need to click the checkbox in order to acknowledge the terms of opening a critical ticket.
Hi Advin

Advin, I purchased a vps through your link from a post in September that mentioned either a month free or unmetered BW.
Is that offer still valid ? Invoice 16927
