Thank you for your interest in our services! We use MaxMind for automated fraud screening — by far the most popular and widely used screening service by web hosts. While false positives are certainly frustrating, I wouldn’t consider our usage of MaxMind a “bad, bad sign”.
Our staff manually reviewed your order roughly 15 minutes after it was placed and manually cleared the MaxMind false positive. The invoice was paid and the server is now in the setup queue.

Sadly I was right. KVM/IMPI can’t upload over 600k, my actual server speed ranges from what you see to maybe 400-500 but both ping from the outside (smokeping) are consistently high and download test to a server five hops away on a real gigabit connection resulted in the same poor speeds.
Was worth a shot for the price but the server I have for $22 on another provider smokes this thing like a cheap cigar
These guys are awesome, I’ve had 2 dedicated servers with them and they have always performed as expected, the support is also something where they go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy, i definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a dedicated server or any service they offer
