Although ECVPS have been providing vps services since 2009, this is the first time that they’ve been featured on LowEndBox. We are told that all of their VPS packages are hosted on “Enterprise Supermicro Hardware” made up of “Quad Core Xeon servers with 8GB/16GB/24GB RAM, and configured with RAID”. These particular servers seem to be using RAID1 and come with an offsite backup. Furthermore, the ticket claims that these servers are “Fully Managed” and come with “Free Migration”, I presume that is only if you use DA? I found this thread on LowEndTalk about them. If you purchase one of these, do let us know about your experience!

ECVPS accept payments via PayPal and Moneybookers (Skrill). They provide a 99.99% Uptime Guarantee but do not offer refunds. A free Vps uptime monitor is also included, you will need to submit a ticket to support. All legal content is allowed. Before signing up, you should have a read of their Terms of Service.

Network Information:

You can find their test IP’s and files here. They’re using Softlayer in Dallas and Seattle. They’re using Take2hosting in California.

  2. I bought my very first VPS from this company in 2009 – at that time I did not knew anything about Linux and web server administration, I did not even knew how to log into my VPS. I was very confused: “How am I going to manage my websites without a control panel?” – so they installed the free panel Kloxo – it was free for 40 domains at that time. When I was using their services, their average response time was 5-10 minutes – most of my tickets were for web services/configurations and they always helped me, so the title is absolutely correct – “Fully Managed”. I’m glad to see that they are finally listed on LowEndBox !

Ordered a vps from them using it as netflix procy to europe.

I had a vps based in softlayer dalas for several years but hosting company moved to another location. since thatn I tried several providers but performance was very poor. Virpus, Bluevm all had very low speed to europe. sometimes it was good but than speed dropped to less than 0.5 mbps.

The current vps is softlayer based and these guys have over 400 peers. Speed to Europe is good en they have good capacity.

So currentyl I am have with ecvps
